Lite slitet och ofräscht. Frukosten var mycket bra samt att det fanns kylskåp på rummet. Spaavdelning fanns men om den var lika dåligt skött som badrummet undviks den.

The hotel was easy to find and access. Our room was huge and warm with basic / slightly dated furniter but comfortable beds.
Spa area was ok as well

heel leuk hotel nabij centrum van Györ .. Gratis welkom drankje , mag ook een biertje zijn . Gratis gebruik sauna .. inclusief goed ontbijt .. Douche niet al te groot . Bedden prima en airco ..

sehr freundlicher Empfang, es wurde deutsch, englisch und ungarisch gesprochen, Fotos vom Hotel sind besser als die Realität, erst nach der Buchung erhält man den Hinweis, dass nicht alle Zimmer über Klimaanlagen verfügen (aber bei 38° erforderlich!), dass am Freitag und Samstag Hochzeitsfeiern bis zum nächsten Morgen 4:00 Uhr stattfinden (sehr laut), Parkplätze werden nach den "Windhundprinzip" vergeben => wer zuerst kommt, malt zuerst, kein Handtuchtausch, keine Zimmerreinigung innerhalb von 6 Tagen

Clean, quiet, and comfortable - really enjoyed our stay!

The location was very close to city center. It took 20 minutes for the water in the shower to get warm enough for a shower. The staff closed down the breakfast buffet before 10am stop time. The regular restaurant was only open Wednesday through Sunday. Only phone in the hotel was the one by the front desk.

Lindo establecimiento. La atención de la gente es buena. Andando se puede llegar a la zona turística. Si hay algún pero, sería para la gente que trae equipaje... no se espanten porque el hotel está construido en desniveles, y todo es escalera.

Parkplatz bei Hotel sehr gut.
Ess-Saal schön, Frühstück gut. Hintergrund Musik im Ess-Saal viel zu laut und immer nur Songs von Queen.
Zimmer eher alt, irgendwie renovationsbedürftig, hellhörig.
Leider keine Seife weder für WC noch für Bad, selbst nach Mitteilung an Reception keine Seife erhalten.

Old hotel, charming and very well maintained, small but good room with balcony, new AC, and a good breakfast at a very reasonable price.

Alter Kasten, aber mit Charme und lokalem Flair. Es wird laufend verbessert aber unterm Strich bleibt's abgewohnt. Komme seit 5 Jahren und meine dass es teurer aber nicht wirklich besser geworden ist. Und zwar in allen Bereichen: Bad, Restaurant, Frühstück. Sind auch weniger Gäste als früher, auch an Tagen wo es laut App angeblich ausgebucht ist. Restaurant probiert sich als Haubenküche, dementsprechend kleine Portionen. War früher von Monteuren gut besucht, jetzt war ich 3 Tage lang einziger Gast und Bedienung war überforderter patscherter Lehrling. Und das ganze zu einem Preis wie bei uns. Auch Frühstück nur mehr Sparvariante

Lovely hotel with comfortable beds and extremely quiet. Good value for money only the breakfast was poor. Breakfast area not tidied and not great quality of food. Perfect location to explore Gyor however.

Superior room and excellent crew. Perfect rooms, small but cleany and perfect spa for 75€ (2 persons) included breakfast. I like it so much. City center is so close (10 minutes walking). The restaurant is excellent too.

A good location with a good restaurant. The desk clerk was very personable and helpful and he spoke good English.

Please stay away ftom the low budget and even lower quality Standard rooms - even below the hostel level
If you upgrade maybe you fin appropriate value for money solution at the higher class
Food average, location soso

Pros: Cheap, mostly clean, very close to the university, ok breakfast, very kind and helpful staff
Cons: Very dated rooms, very dated furniture (therefore you cannot really tell how clean the room was - it is not easy to keep such dated rooms clean...), uneven walls, tv just over the sofa at 1,6 meter, so a lot of chances for tall people to beat their heads, the whole building is a castle-like very old building, a lot of stairs, no elevator, it is not easy to find your room since the corridor is a bit confusing with a lot of turns and stairs.
Since this hotel is really just a few minutes away from the university, I think I will stay here again, but remember that you get what you pay for.
