We had dinner at The Broughton last month and were very impressed , the enjoyable food were served by the lovely Bea! She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond – truly exceptional service. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. Bea's warm personality really made our evening special. We'll definitely be back and hope to be served by Bea again!

Had a great time. Everything was clean and comfortable, exactly what we needed.
The pub was lovely - had dinner there a couple of times and the service was spot on. Beatrice was really helpful and friendly, which made the evenings enjoyable.
Would stay again.

We had such a wonderful evening here a few weeks back. The food and drinks were super tasty, but the service really stood out. Beatrice at the bar was friendly and very attentive. 10/10 recommended, we are definitely coming back!

The service here is truly outstanding. Every staff member was attentive and friendly, making for a fantastic experience. A special shout-out must go to Bea who works at the bar. She is incredibly friendly and skilled at her job. Her warm welcome and excellent service really made my visit memorable. Highly recommended!

Reception was very professional and welcoming

The room was quiet and comfortable. A few areas of the hotel, including the room, could use some touch up and newness. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. We chose to eat at the restaurant, as it was convenient, but the set up surprised us and we found it not to our liking. Very very little interaction with the staff, as it is completely app based ordering. Our drinks (in bottles) were dropped off and the person was gone, before we could ask for a glass. So that had to be collected from the bar. When the food was brought to the table, we were directed to get our own utensils, etc. from the condiment station along the wall. Not a single staff person came by after that to ask how our meal was.
If possible, I would give the restaurant a lesser rating separately, as the hotel was fine.

Great value stay. The room was comfortable with plenty of space.to work and relax. The pub restaurant next door was excellent.

Very helpfull atentive to customers smart funny helpfull a pleasure to know 9 out of 10. My favourtie local ever reccommended.

Shower water pressure is really bad, you cannot wash your hair properly at all.

Large room, comfortable beds, close to MK bowl for events there, friendly staff, good food at a reasonable price

Bed could’ve been a bit more comfortable food options were good in the hotel but could be better. Building and decor bit dated and in need of an upgrade

Lovely stay and enjoyed the four days

Most nights peaceful except Saturday night all night. Bathroom needs new basin taps and very noisy cheap extractor , no aircon and window very difficult to open staff very helpful and friendly

Awful. Rooms and lobby smell. No air con in rooms. Bathroom from the 80s. Aye once in restaurant and needed a chainsaw for the chicken. Just bad… look elsewhere.

Very warm welcome from Mark and that set the tone for our 2 night stay. All the staff were welcoming and very helpful. Mark was very knowledgeable about the area and suggesting where we could visit. We had been to Bletchley Park, only needed one day so we were looking for ideas.
The rooms are dated but the beds were comfy, with lovely sheets and pillows. The towels were fluffy and the water hot. A fan had been provided which was very welcome.
The Hungry Horse menu had plenty of choice with many offers. The pub was well supported by local residents, there were plenty of seats both inside and in the garden.

Well Fawlty towers in milton keynes would be more aptly named. We arrived at the hotel with bollards blocking the entrance into the hotel. As we turned it looked like a rav was in progress. When we finally got to checking we asked if the party outside would being going on for long. Dont worry its only going on to 10pm, but then its coming inside to 12pm.

I was surprised as the rooms to the hotel extend over the pub.

We arrived a 4pm went the room 24 and told it was a loverly family room.

We went into the pub for a drink and sat at a table. We were asked to move as these tables were required for later.

We moved tables ordered some for and sent is back because it was over cooked. The noise was here does so we went to our room.

We then found that the extractor was noisy and vibrating quite loud, we fell asleep about 10.30 we were woken by the extractor being amplified to where level 50 on the TV could not drown the sound of the extractor. This continued until 3.15 am. When I tried to get some help with this but to no avail.

The next morning we were told by the head of cleaning that test issue was reported but had not been dealt with.

Obviously customer don't matter to the landlord or landlady. AND IN MY OPINION NOT FIT TO RUN THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

That said the rest of the staff tried to help but were not empowered to deal with any real issues.

Shame on the landlady and landlord of the brougton hotel. And shame on the area manager thats not dealing with the issues here

I would like to thank Mark and Kirsty at the Broughton for their kindness to us on our unscheduled stop with them. All of the staff were very friendly and professional.

Our spotless room was a good size with all the facilities that we needed, especially a hairdryer with a long enough cord to allow drying my hair in front of a mirror. The food in the restaurant was varied, well-cooked and the portions generous.

We would certainly return.

Check in was excellent gentlemen was very helpful.
