Close to Skyline Drive
Pros:

The staff was very nice, it was a good price and a convenient location for starting early to the Shenandoah National Park.

Cons:

We didn't have a good night here, but it was not really the motels fault but the guy above us decided to move furniture during the night. All the furniture, all the time. Also, the shower drain was blocked.

Pros:

Old historic feel with updated rooms. Dog space was awesome!

Cons:

Loud neighbors and kinda weird feel to "community". Almost felt like a low income apartment community like everyone else knew each other? Lot of loud talking that kept our dog on alert.

Great location stay for one night, if you cannot walk up stairs not the place
Pros:

The location came to town first time to visit close to everything . The room was small but clean

Cons:

If you are disabled this is not the place for you. There is no elevator and just to get to your room on the first floor you still need to go up 8 steps. This made my stay very difficult having to try and get up the stairs while carrying my luggage. I understand this is an older hotel but you need to do better ! There are so many better options in the area that have elevators. Not to mention the people next door party all night.

Great location, affordable, clean, but didn’t get the room we reserved.
Pros:

Location, price, no charge for dog.

Cons:

Reserved pet friendly, 2 queen bed room. Went to check in & they were surprised we had a dog. Cancelled or reservation & gave us a room with 2 full beds, not queen.

Clean, safe, quiet
Pros:

It was excellent. Super helpful staff and very clean and safe and quiet. Exactly what I was looking for when traveling for work.

Cons:

The only thing was the blanket was very thin so I was a little hot and cold at the same time kind of thing at night.
