Cons:

Our room wasn’t cleaned properly, several dirty towels in the room from previous guests. Waited 15minutes for the receptionist to come to the desk, no bell to ring or sign to say when they would be back.

Overall, the location was great and some parts were clean, but between the broken locks, questionable carpet, and a few

The property was close to where we wanted to be.
Convenience store across the road. Queen street mall and Roma Street Parkland a short walk from the apartments.
Beds, kitchen and showers were clean.

Cons:

Unfortunately our stay wasn’t the most comfortable. The second bedroom didn’t have air conditioning, which made it quite warm. The balcony door handle was broken and couldn’t be locked, and the front door security locks were also broken, so we didn’t feel particularly secure during our stay.

The carpet had quite a lot of marks on it, to the point where we felt more comfortable keeping our shoes on. One of the lamps in the room also had what looked like some kind of spray stain on it. The iron didn’t work and the ironing board wasn’t very stable.

Overall, the place could really benefit from a thorough deep clean and some maintenance.

We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience.

To begin with, the building name on the street is completely different from the name used for the accommodation listing, which made it unnecessarily confusing to find when we arrived.

Once we got to the room, there were multiple maintenance and basic amenity issues that clearly hadn’t been addressed. The curtains were broken and didn’t close properly, allowing light to stream into the room early in the morning. The shower head was also broken — we reported this to reception during our stay and nothing was done.

The TV had constant antenna static, making it difficult to watch. The “main bed” was actually two single beds pushed together that continuously separated, which was very uncomfortable. There was also no air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Several very basic items were missing from the room entirely, including hand towels, tea towels and even hand soap. On top of that, there was a wasp nest on the balcony, which was concerning and should have been dealt with before guests arrived.

The apartment is advertised as accommodating four people, yet the balcony only had two outdoor chairs, which is another example of the lack of attention to detail.

Overall, this property appears poorly maintained and poorly equipped for guests. There were multiple issues that should have been addressed before our arrival, and the lack of response after reporting problems to reception was frustrating. We would not stay here again.

Our room was absolutely disgusting. There was blood on the walls, curtains, lounge.. there was rubbish left on balcony, empty toilet roll on floor in bedroom, floors had not been vacuumed..air cons blasting in bedroom with no remote to turn it off. No remote for tv in bedroom..

Pros:

The bed was very uncomfortable it rolled every time I moved in it. The blind/curtain didn’t cover the window so when the sun rose it came into the room and woke me up early. Where The bed head was in the room the curtain needed to over the window panel. The rest was good.

Cons:

There were four of us staying in the room, and when we arrived there were no towels provided. The room itself was also not up to standard — there was a hole in the wall, and the mattress and bedding were dirty. The shower was unclean, and there was mould on the ceiling in the balcony area.
We tried calling reception and the after-hours number to request towels so we could get ready for our plans that night, but no one answered. The next morning, I called multiple times between 8:00am and 12:30pm. Each time I was told towels would be sent up shortly.
When towels finally arrived, there were only three, despite us clearly stating there were four guests. Even after going down to reception in person, we waited 40 minutes with no towels delivered. In the end, the only way we received them was by going back down again and asking to take them ourselves.
At the very least, clean rooms and basic amenities like towels should be provided in a hotel.

I won’t stay here again.
Pros:

The location was reasonably close to the city and the unit had a large balcony.

Cons:

Only 1 small pot for cooking and limited utensils. No ironing board. Curtains are not fully connected to the railing, so don’t fully block the light and whilst accidentally locking myself out of the apartment was not ideal, not having a spare or master key available cost me $450 for the lock smith. Overall it was a little run down and damaged.

Pros:

Very disappointed. The space was extremely tired, with common areas in dire need og upgrade and a good clean. The single beds were extremely uncomfortable. The shower head burst off when in use and gave me a bruise on my cheekbone, it was thereafter very difficult to shower and not a good experiece. Gutted as we booked to come back in April and now we know we never want to stay here again.
