We really enjoyed our stay at Hôtel De La Chapelle. The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated. The room was charming and very clean. There was parking, which was great. The area around the hotel is very beautiful and peaceful.
Nothing important, for some the room might be a bit on the small side, apart from that nothing.
The breakfast was excellent . the reason for choosing the hotel was its location
The room was small and quite dark. the bathrrom was ok but the shower was absolutely useless. the shower head sprayed water all over the place and would not stay up on its bracket, which was very frustrating. It was also to low down to shower under.
I accidently let our room door bang! the landloord told me off! GET A DOOR CLOSER
Friendly owner and warm welcome. Good breakfast, plenty of choice for all tastes. Very clean, nice linen. Super comfortable bed. Good parking. Plenty of advice for things to do. Plenty of storage for clothes both hanging and in drawers.
No tea/coffee facility in the room. Hairdryer in bathroom very low power. Luckily I had my own heat brush. The logis encourages you to change towels every three days. Not a problem in the winter with the heating but could be a problem in the summer. These are only minor issues because abuse overall the logis is very good.
Charming old school place
The order was messed up between the hotel and booking.com, we didn’t have all the beds booked. The hotel didn’t do anything about it saying it’s booking’s fault… Soundproofing was also not great in the morning, we could easily hear the neighbours talking while trying to sleep more.
