Hôtel Le Central

Great hosts! We arrived off season and on a Monday - the day the Pyrenees go on a diet! No restaurants in the town were open on arrival! Even a reservation for Tuesday was a challenge, but the hosts stepped up and found us a nice restaurant in the neighboring town. Perfect base to see three legendary places in the French Pyrenees

We have just jab the most wonderful stay at Le Central. Our hosts Christophe and Alain went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They went to the trouble of moving our room when my husband a keen birdwatcher wanted a river and Mountain View. Breakfast was included which was always top notch and the restaurant food was freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. The had a very good wine list and once more the wines were well priced. All in all we couldn’t have asked for more and we will certainly return.

Excellent accueil lors de nos vacances dans les Pyrénées. Demi-pension au rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel. Établissement très bien tenu et extrêmement bien situé pour explorer les montagnes de la région. Proximité des thermes pour terminer la journée de manière relaxante. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Average accommodation for ski resort but more than comfortable enough.Food of very high quality, breakfast good dinner excellent.

Kleinschalig hotel dat gezellig is ingericht. De kamer (comfort) was zeer ruim met prima badkamer en aparte wc. Het was goed. Ee weed goed rekening gehouden de covid maatregelen. Het hotel ligt centraal tussen onder andere de Col du tourmalet en Col d'Aubisque.

Hotel et acceuil impeccable, mieux que sur les photos.le repas du soir vaut le detour.

L'accueil est très agréable, le service impeccable, le restaurant digne d'un étoilé. La décoration donne une note cosi et chaleureuse , nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Un séjour Parfait. De l'accueil aux repas en passant par la chambre tout était agréable. Un hôtel à conseiller.

Excellent service and the food was great in the hotel. The staff were very friendly. There's lots of walks in the mountains to do from the town. Highly recommended!

Hotel situé au coeur de village ,chambre spacieuse,très confortable. Baignoire balnéo,jolie vue sur la rivière, Tv de taille respectable et propriétaires agréables ayant du goût pour leur hôtel .Terrasse,petit dejeuner très sympa. Petit plus le chat de la maison carlita un amour

Très bon accueil et très bon séjour au central où nous avons pris de délicieux repas le soir et des petits déjeuners très copieux et très variées le matin. Hôtel bien situé dans Barèges et tout près des thermes

We eat our a lot in france. The restaursnt at le Central offers better value than we ever find anywhere else . Dinner is 22 euros for 3 courses, but you also get nibbles and soup, making it feel like 5. And , incredibly, the menu changes completely every day. Good wines too, both by the glass and bottle

5 ideal day. The days spent hiking and exploring the Pyrenees National Park and the evenings recuperating with incredible French 4-course meals and some great local wine!
