Un séjour parfait au cœur des Alpes Suisses

Un immense merci à Francis et Carla pour leur accueil chaleureux ! Cet hôtel historique est un véritable havre de paix : chambres pleines de charme, literie confortable, et une vue imprenable sur le glacier depuis la terrasse. La cuisine maison est délicieuse. Ajoutez à cela une ambiance familiale et authentique… Je recommande les yeux fermés et j’y retournerai avec grand plaisir !

Un peu d’histoire : l'origine mystérieuse du nom « Diablerets »

Ce nom intrigant puise ses racines dans les légendes locales. Autrefois, le village s’appelait « Le Plan des Isles ». Mais le massif qui le domine inspirait la crainte : des éboulements fréquents faisaient croire aux habitants de la vallée que le diable s'amusait à leur envoyer des pierres, d'où le nom « Diablerets ». Une autre légende raconte que les pâturages se seraient transformés en un paysage de roches et de glace, où les diables tenaient sabbat, et que le fracas des pierres était celui de diables jouant aux quilles. Ce n'est qu'au début du XXe siècle que le hameau fut officiellement renommé « Les Diablerets », en référence à cet hôtel fondé en 1856.

O hotel é histórico e bem cuidado, fundado em 1875. Os quartos são bem espaçosos. Água bem quente e camas confortáveis. Os donos são muito gentis e prestativos. Há um cupom de desconto de 20% no Glacier 3000 (pega no hotel, então melhor não comprar antes). Melhor café da manhã de hotel e melhor fondue.

Perfect place in Les Diablerets!
Pros:

This place is very special. Francis is an amazing host. Very clean and comfortable with one of the most amazing views you will ever see from your balcony. The dinners that are prepared are outstanding as well and it has a very comfortable ambiance.

Freundliche zuvorkommende Gastgeber, wunderbare Lage nahe des Dorfes, bequeme Betten

Cons:

Toll, dass auch in der aktuellen Zwischensaison den Gästen die Möglichkeit zum Essen vor Ort angeboten wird. Freundlicher Service und Zubereitung auf Wunsch. Noch schöner wären ein paar mehr frische Produkte.

Schöne Skitage
Pros:

Schönes altes historic Hotel. sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, gute Atmosphäre im Hotel, sehr gemütlich am Abend mit Kaminfeuer. Tolle Aussicht vom Balkon und gute Einrichtung. Das Dorf ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar in ca 10 Min. Ruhige Lage. Für auf die Skipiste braucht es ein Auto.

Cons:

- Matratzen sind schon etwas durchgelegen
- Das Zimmer war sauber, zur Reinigung würden jedoch auch Fensterscheiben und der Gang dazugehören.
- Viele Fliegen im Zimmer
- das Essen war gut, aber leider vorwiegend convenience food, schade.
