Very friendly staff and good food.
Rooms were great and clean. We had dinner at the hotel too with an okay vegan option.
Staff were very friendly . Food was excellent! The atmosphere was amazing . Location was excellent!
friendly stadd
We stayed with our dog, staff were great, rooms were clean and comfortable, best nights sleep I had. Breakfast was superb.
We stayed for 3 nights, it was on the top floor (2nd). Room space was adequate, not very spacious. It was a country style hotel with good vibes. But could do better with roome service as it is in middle of woods so you may see small insects if window is open.
Wonderful food, excellent view of loch ness
This is a wonderful place to stay. It feels like the Scottish hunting lodge it was, solid and comfortable and close to the forest. The view over Loch Ness is perfect. The staff take very good care of you. The food is excellent. The location is convenient to all the Highlands. The bed is comfortable. There is a fine lounge downstairs and chairs on the lawn overlooking the loch. My only tiny complaint was that the toiletries and in room coffee came in tiny plastic packaging which caused a lot of difficult recycling.
Very quaint and charming hotel. Large and rustic rooms, but the walls are extremely thin. We had a family with young children staying above us, and the kids running around prevented us from sleeping.
Very comfortable and welcoming. Easy to park and ideally situated to visit the local area.
Room was dirty and very dusty. Wall paper peeling off the walls. One medium size mirror on opposite side of room.
Dinner was over priced and tasteless.
Breakfast was undercooked food and raw eggs.
Felt like one person doing check-in, managing bar, serving food and possibly cooking it too.
Car park very confusing, need better signs.
The whole hotel needs a spruce up.
Very disappointed for the money spend on the stay here as felt it was the worst of all the places we stayed whilst on holiday yet the most expensive both for food and accommodation.
Quaint older hotel with adequate amenities.(full bar and restaurant). Food and service were great. Could use some black out curtains and the mattresses could use an update. .
Very nice stay, a wonderful hotel. Staff was amazing. We had dinner at the hotel, it was incredible. This was our anniversary and the hotel and staff made it a memorable occasion
The staff were extremely helpful and the room was perfect. Food was lovely m, especially the sticky toffee pudding. Beautiful location and traditional building.
Breakfast was of a poor standard and the views from the rooms are obscured by trees or a fire escape.
Highly recommend!
This was a lovely place to stay near Loch Ness, with a view of the loch from our room. Service was very good, with attentive and kind staff. Food offerings were varied, and what we ate was wonderful. It seemed like the bathroom had been updated fairly recently, but the room could have used some new paint and carpet. Overall a great little place to stay
This hotel, though small, holds a rustic grandeur that encourages a long happy stay. Though my own stay was short (only 2 nights), I was able to explore the lucious ground and glenway trail that is connected to the hotel. As well as the friendly and helpful staff. The bar and restaurant were superb. Accommodations were alightly dated but held a rustic charm.
Room clean and comfortable. En suite a bit on the small side but as only staying one night it was adequate.
We were disappointed that the Highland Cows had been moved and were not there. The views were lovely and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We had to drive to the town for dinner, but it wasn't too far and it was a nice little town with many dining choices.
Our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator.
Breakfast was delicious and very nice. There were nice rooms for visiting with other guests.
