Pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable room, firm bed but lacking in a room safe. TV and lighting fixtures will need improving soon. Good restaurant food.
Good to have a swimming pool to cool off after a hectic day of walking.
Convenient shopping at SM City and Delgardo Malls; less than 100 pesos by taxi.
Our go to place everytime we visit Iloilo. The hotel is newly renovated and they also serve good food. The hotel staffs are well trained and extend superb customer service to the guests. Highly recommended for both business and leisure. 😊
Surprisingly, the food is GREAT! Especially their Afritada and Adobo :) The hotel itself is old and it looks and smells it. The downside is that their function rooms are located in another building, which is about 5-7 minutes walk away. This becomes very uncomfortable when its raining or is hot outside because there is no covered pathwalk. The hotel staff are very friendly and efficient.
We stayed in a room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the city - how much it has grown! The room was spacious and clean; the housekeeping staff made the bed twice, in the morning and in the afternoon - very attentive to our needs. The staff is well mannered and extra cordial. The breakfast selection is decent - Filipino and American. The pool is about a 2-minute walk - it’s big with a separate kiddie pool. There’s a bar as well, Freddie’s, close to the pool - you should try their frozen iced tea! The hotel is close to everything; SM city mall is approximately a 10-minute taxi ride, the riverside and smallville entertainment hub is a 5-minute walk, festive walk mall is a 15-minute taxi ride. We’re definitely staying at The Mansion next time we’re in Iloilo!
I booked this for my mom who stayed in iloilo according to her the room is clean, food is great and comfort wise is ok but i notice every time i am trying to contact my mom the Wifi connection is very poor i guess if you only wanted to stay and not connect with your friends and family this place is commendable.
An excellent hotel. The staff is kind, friendly, courteous, and did much to help in going to places and attractions. Ideally located at the city center - very easily accessible to a UNESCO World Heritage Site Miagao Church, Garin Farm, Molo Church, then, to Mandurriao, Jaro Cathedral, Red brick Sta. Monica Parish Church in Pavia, and, lastly to Ortiz Wharf for the boat ride to Guimaras. The two Deluxe rooms we had, for the three of us, are very comfortable and spacious, big beds, great shower and best of all a terrace with views over the city. Buffet breakfast is amazing, choices galore and yet delicious. The head waitress also cooked us some fresh omelet for our table!!!. The concierge is so professional!! The marble lobby was a wonderful place for a morning meeting we had, and nice!! Had a wonderful experience in this lovely hotel!!! The only thing regrettable is our short stay of only 3 days and 2 nights (Dec 2-5, 2018). Well there’s always a next time, a longer time for a stay…
Keine Raucher Ecke für die Gäste, Schwimmbad schleckte Ausstattung, Service und freundlicheit sehr gut
I would like to commend the bellman Ady who assisted us in our baggage. He did an extra mile on looking for a box that we can use for our pasalubongs. I would also like to thank their head Derick Lim, who gave us a very nice and warm welcome during our stay in the hotel. Everyone was nice from the girls at the front desk, from their servers at breakfast who assisted us with all our needs. Will definitely come back again!
Problem with the room was sink was clogged. We had an issue with our belongings taken out of the room, followed it up the next day since no one called to follow up and was returned on check out.
Staff stated it was just in the room but looked everywhere the night before and did not find it.
But good news the staff found the missing item. 😶
Stayed this November for business and leisure. Room 506. Delicious breakfast, spacious room and very friendly staff. Since I traveled solo, they helped me fix my itinerary. Their customer service is highly commendable. I will definitely come back for my future visits in Iloilo.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 accommodation at an affordable price!
👍clean newly renovated rooms!
👍yummy breakfast buffet
👍accommodating and friendly staff
The highlight was the presidential suite---very ideal for proposals and house parties!
If I can only give a recommendation, it would be that sometimes the aircon is too cold.
But overall a very nice experience!
The newly renovated rooms were amazing. The space was big, new bathroom, very clean.
Stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect. Given that it was newly branded from the Well Known Sarabia Manor Hotel. They managed to impress me by their staff and service. Quality at its best. Even from the reservation and transportation pick up from the airport. I give my best of thanks to Mr. Lim that assisted us all the way. Room is Clean, still in progress of modernization (That's acceptable) and sooo peaceful. Accessible in the modern areas and markets and about 15 minutes from the airport. Front the front office, Housekeeping, Security and Breakfast Team. Thank you very much.
To the travelers who is looking for a cozy, Traditional and secured hotel to stay in Ilo Ilo This is the one!
The hotel has the best Grand Entrance, the Reception and the staff are very polite and welcoming athmosphere .If you’re looking for a classical place to stay in Iloilo ,the mansion is the best place to be home. The swimming pool has a bar where you can have a nice cocktail afternoon with friends.
Shows its age - has quite a musty smell to it. Even the newly renovated rooms have bad carpeting and the toilets/drainage is woeful, with one of our rooms having sewage exit through it. Only one elevator operational out of two. Surprised that everything was at a cost - extra disposable slipper? Extra blanket? Nope. And reception hangs up on you for asking these. These are amenities that most good hotels will happily provide at no cost. The only redeeming thing I can think of is that breakfast was good.
not very good.
When one hears the word mansion, one concocts ideas of luxury and opulence. Well, this isn't that kind of mansion. We held a business conference here because of their ample facilities for holding such events. The rooms though are horrible. I had to remind the people who booked this hotel repeatedly of this mistake. This is one of the worst hotels I've been in. Rooms and facilities in the rooms have deteriorated, reminiscent of days gone past. Wooden doors require termite treatment. TV sets are trapped in the 90s. Beds are bad for your back. Telephone sets do not always work. The hallways are eerie as your Regal films' Shake, rattle, and roll scenes! Spend your money elsewhere. Hotels in iloilo abound. Do not settle for less.
I booked through Agoda and completely paid for it. The hotel never sent confirmation details. When asked, hotek staff would ask you about the specifics of your reservation; check-in hassle.
Check out is even slower. I took me 45 mins before check out even if I paid for a "missing" hand towel that never was just to avoid missing my flight. Note, there were three staff in the front desk.
Oh and when you're alone during breakfast, they'll gladly awkwardly seat you amongst a huge table of strangers to accommodate more guests so best to have your brwakfast earlier.
Stayed 2 nights. Room I requested , that in the corporate wing was said to be renovated. Design was typically basic , conventional , BUT they have a balcony , overlooking their Olympic sized swimming pool, which I liked . They have a flat screen TV with many channels . Airconditioning was ok , took time to cool however . No card key , so it is more of the usual key stuff which has to be left at the front desk so that it would not get loss . Major Dislike : that foul smelling odor originating from the toilet . Even the use of my perfume and the coffee powder can’t neutralize it . It was in room 505. Well having a faster speed wifi , decent but limited in selection breakfast buffet , and down to earth attitude and demeanor of the staff made it worth while . Prices of hotel rooms in the province of Iloilo are very reasonable enough , and I would say it was a bargain . But please do something about that smell .
The Porte Cochere is amazing... you feel like you have arrived somewhere very special.. The welcome from the staff is warm and wonderful, as you expect from people of the Philippines.. My room was vast with all amenities.. though the plug in the vanity mystified me.. The room was well kept, though the curtains, as like in many Asian countries needed better maintenance...The hotel is clearly geared for business and does this well,, however it is also well set up of the tourist/resort trade having balonconied rooms, a very excellent pool, lots of food around and ready access to major shopping centres, with in 20 minutes stroll, or Jeepnee ( as an Aussie I cant figure them out) or good cheap taxi.. the airport is only 20 minutes drive..... Now to work on the balcony.. some chairs... the pool:- sun lounges with tables and shade sails.... and reactive service... Would I stay there again... YES
