Great central location in authentic building with a definite Baker St vibe.
Pros:

The building was quaint and nicely appointed in the lobby and the location was fantastic. Our room was on the third floor and no lift so handling the luggage was difficult. It was summer and no aircon so needed to open the window at night which let in street noise but I think it couldn't be helped. Reception staff were friendly and allowed us to stow baggage on arrival and departure.

Cons:

A lift would've been great but overall, a pleasant stay.

Good only if position is critical and have no issues to sleep with noise.
Pros:

Position excellence

Cons:

I have asked for a quite room, but the room was on the main street and it was noisy. No breakfast, although there are amenities around, reception not very helpful, Wifi should have been stated more clearly that it is free.. Eventually it is. Shampoo and shower gel should have a better smell..small effort to fix this and in the summer a bottle of water would be appreciated.

Pros:

I recently stopped at the Somerset hotel in Baker Street with my daughter.

On arrival, we found excellent drink making facilities in reception to help yourself too. Nice cosy feel with decor in keeping with the building.

I had rung the hotel the day prior to arrival and spoke to an extremely helpful member of the team Assam.

I asked Assam about tea making facilities in the room. Being a budget hotel, this was not a standard facility. However, Assam was really pleasant to speak to and said he would arrange for a kettle, mugs, and tea to be put in the room. This was done for us. We arrived before check-in, our luggage was labelled and put in their luggage room. When we arrived back late afternoon, our suitcases had been taken to our rooms. There is no lift, and we were on the third floor, so this was very much appreciated.

The room was nice, well decorated. A shower was over the bath. Ask for a bath mat, which they do have. Towels were white and fluffy, and the beds very comfortable.

Excellent value.

I will definitely return to this hotel when I visit London. Thank you, Assam, for all your kindness. Best wishes

Mohamed was excellent. Very friendly and very help full, which made the process of checking in and out a pleasure.
Pros:

It was in a good place for us near Lords. The facilities were fine and clean too. The beds were comfy. The towels were lovely and white and good shower and sink gel.

Very poor, very disappointing. Doesn't reflect the location.
Pros:

Great location convenient for both Baker Street and Maryleb stations, plenty of cafes on Malcolmbe Street and restaurants along Baker Street. That's where the positivity ends.

Cons:

@£84pn for single room no breakfast seems like a bargain for the area but at half the price it would have been too much as the property was shabby and grubby. I understand that some properties go through a transition but very little efforts seem to be made here there are a lot of small things that could have been put right.
No lift, OK it's an older building and probably listed so maybe not an option, but no tea or coffee making facilities in the room guests are expected to trek down two, four, or six flights of stairs to make a cup of coffee in Reception. When I arrived, electricity was off in reception so I couldn't get tea. Reception was unmanned except for check in. I stayed 3 nights, my room was not cleaned the entire stay, no clean towel. One the second day someone had gone into the room and sprayed a toxic fog of air freshener around thinking that would pass it fool me into thinking they had cleaned. It didn't. The bed was awful creaky wooden bed frame that was a little too high, and an overly firm mattress that sagged in the middle. A finial missing from the curtain rail and curtain hanging off the end, this is an easy fix. Room was basic, clean when I arrived, but as I said not cleaned after that and bin not emptied. Hallways and stairwells were shabby and grubby looking thread near carpet patched up with gaffer tape and walls in need of a coat of paint. Fans were provided in the room which was the only plus.
Bathroom was a hazard, sloping floors due to subsidence, but had ceramic floor tiles, needs no slop flooring, 20cm step up into shower cubicle and in a very compact bathroom and the bath mat provided was also not non slip.
Also large stain in carpet outside my room, looked like paint.
Traffic noise you can get used to, but the creaking bed and uncomfortable mattress made for poor sleep. This is a low budget hotel I feel the price p.n. was too high dispute the location especially as it is room only.
