Staff didn’t have any idea of how to handle a fire alarm situation
Cons:

Today at 5 am fire alarm went off, everyone went out side without any direction or explanation from staff member. Spoke with morning staff and was advised to contact booking.com for a refund.

Met or exceeded expectations, with a note of caution
Pros:

Comfortable, clean, quiet with solid floors and walls, and insulated glass windows. Other guests were pretty quiet. Rooms were nice, bathroom was clean and well prepped with towels and liquid soaps. Other amenities not expected but appreciated were a mini fridge, microwave, iron, and an ice machine by the elevator, Outside temps all week were 100+ but the AC worked like a champ, and we had no problem keeping cool. Breakfast was very good with a bigger spread than just toast and pastries. Coffee was dispensed from a machine that ground beans and brewed each cup on demand, and tasted better than expected. A small convenience shop of sorts was next to the front desk with a good selection of snacks, chips, and drinks.

Cons:

Location. Not the hotel's fault, obviously, but just a word of caution that the neighborhood might be too unsavory for some. Trash is scattered along the public sidewalk adjacent to the property. The bus stop nearby looks like a homeless encampment with piles of trash. Some try to enter the hotel and some succeed. If you plan to take the bus expect to encounter homeless people, crazy people, and sometimes crazy homeless people.

Very minor: There was no main ceiling light to illuminate the whole room, just one for the entry area and a lamp and night lights. We had to turn them all on to get good light for some activities.
