All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid Credit Card: Visa, Master Card, Diners Club or American Express. As a guarantee of the reservation, the hotel could apply a withholding -not a charge- 10 days prior to the check-in corresponding to the first night of stay plus tax. Foreigners not resident in Chili are exempt from taxes. This retention will only be effective in case the person does not show up or cancels his / her stay outside the established period. The retention is released once the passenger arrives at the hotel.
LOCAL TAX LAW
Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%.
Foreign tourists: to be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).

It was the best breakfast of the entire trip to Chile, with great desserts. Nice view of Osorno Volcano, but only at 7 a.m.; after that, fog gets in the way. Very friendly staff.
Even though we reserved a room with a view, our room had a partial view of the lake and the volcano.

The breakfast was good and when the ran out of things they would replace them.
I would have wished they had a room for three, that is with three beds, there was space enough for a third one. Yet they only had 2 beds that were twin like so we put them together to make one big bed.
The pool wasn't working either and the failed to mention that on there page or any of there advertising and since they are a spa oriented hotel they should let you know all of that info.

un hotel supuestamente de 5 estrellas totalmente falto de mantenimiento...sin pileta, sin gimnasio, sin spa, sin salon de entretenimientos ni al menos un juego de mesa con que distraerse...no habia nada de todo lo ofrecido, realmente decepcionante pagar tan caro tan solo por una habitación para dormir y el desayuno
Mi experiencia en el Hotel Patagónico fue decepcionante, principalmente por la falta de respuesta y solución ante un problema grave durante nuestra estadía. El segundo día desaparecieron unos zapatos de trekking desde nuestra habitación y, pese a informar lo sucedido oportunamente, no recibimos ninguna solución porque la administración no trabajaba durante el fin de semana. El lunes, el administrador se comprometió a contactarnos por correo para resolver la situación, pero después de realizar el checkout seguimos sin recibir respuesta.
Además, solicitamos revisar las grabaciones de las cámaras de seguridad para esclarecer lo ocurrido, pero no nos permitieron verlas. Lo más decepcionante fue la falta de seguimiento y de una solución concreta frente a la desaparición de nuestras pertenencias. Esperaba un mayor nivel de responsabilidad, preocupación y atención al cliente. Lamentablemente, esta experiencia afectó negativamente nuestra estadía y no recomendaría el hotel mientras este tipo de situaciones no se gestione de mejor manera.
