It was convenient to route 77. We had a first floor room which was very convenient.
We were given a handicapped room and would like a regular room next year. For some reason, our "key" had to be re-keyed when it didn't work.
The only redeeming quality was the very friendly staff.
Very dirty and beat up.
Room and breakfast
Pool room was extremely hot. Safety door was padlocked, I took a photo if needed. Hot tub was permanently covered and closed.
Convenient location
Room was too warm to sleep comfortably. Ac filters was very dirty. No counter in bathroom. Multiple fire and smoke alarms just in one room and flashing light in the center of ceiling that blinked all night long.
Princton micro hotel is a home away from home the manager she is a wonderful host and I agree everyone should come here for the hospitality
Bed was comfortable, it was clean.
The rooms are so very small which I kind of expected: "micro-tel" says it all. There was NO breakfast, every time we've stayed there, sometimes there is OJ but really nothing to eat. They shouldn't advertise breakfast if there is none.
Location
Could have been cleaner. Hairs on shower walls.
It was affordable
Everything , the toilet made a horrible noise all night long , it was dingy and kinda scary
The only good thing about this hotel was the staff- Other than that it was meh - we did get to move rooms but didnt get the room that was advertised and its really gone down hill since we used to use this location for multiple trips. The staff was above and beyond awesome but we prob won't come back.
Room was dated and somewhat iffy on cleanliness. The bathroom tub obviously was patched poorly and thankfully we were allowed to move rooms. If it wasn't such a hassle to change hotels and get a refund we would have left Especially since its rates are the same as the other local places that look to be way better.
The location is right in town, located near all the big restaurants, (Applebee's, Texas Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, etc.) The rooms are kind of small, especially if you're traveling with a lot of items, pets, or people. My husband and I just sold our house and needed a place to stay for a few days to get things situated. We have 4 dogs, and this hotel has been MORE than accommodating and very helpful in helping us any way they can to ensure we are comfortable in our room and they even gave us a room near the exit on the first floor so our dogs (who have never been to a hotel, much less used an elevator) didn't have to be traumatized with that experience. The very nice front desk staff even upgraded my room from 1 bed to 2 beds because she said they were a little small, and with 4 dogs plus 2 adults, I'd want a little bit more space.
The only thing I will say about being on the first floor here, is you hear EVERYTHING. And especially if you have dogs, they will too. And if they're anything like mine...they bark. 😅
We get them quieted down fairly quickly, but it can still be worrisome when you know there are other people in the same hotel that you don't want to upset or bother.
This hotel has very thoroughly cleaned amenities, a nicely cleaned restroom, indoor heated pool, etc.
They also have in the room a small mini-fridge, a microwave, and a small coffee maker. They allow pets with a pet deposit of $25 per night.
They have smoking and non-smoking rooms.
So far my stay here has been very nice, and all of the staff here are very friendly.
