I enjoy staying at D’Hotel as the staff are really good and it’s close to my daughter who I visit in Singapore. But the

Great position.

Cons:

The rooms are badly designed. We had to move room because the aircon wasn’t working in the first room, this was not a problem. But in the first room the shower was not enclosed and water flooded the bathroom. The second room had an enclosed shower, but no shelf beside the basin to put toiletry bag. The bathroom basins look nice but aren’t practical.

Really relaxing, safe, spacious and comfortable
Pros:

The room was lovely, really spacious and comfortable. Bed was big and great to sleep in, the bathroom was amazing! It was good to have plenty of room for clothes, a fridge and tea maker.
Staff were very helpful and it was lovely to have a water filter and some treats in the foyer.

Cons:

The light switches were insanely confusing! That’s all though.

Good value, clean and adequate - expect lukewarm showers
Pros:

Solid, utilitarian hotel in the Tiong Bahru neighborhood, which has more of a neighborhood feel and yet close and convenient access to public transport. Exceptionally polite and courteous hotel front desk staff.

Cons:

Hot water (hot shower) is no guaranty here. I changed rooms a couple of times, but regardless, more often than not, the best I could hope for was a lukewarm shower. Maybe that’s a thing in Singapore, but it’s a first for me and came as a surprise for such a modern city. I have never experienced that in other cities across the world, or even in more rural or developing countries for that matter.

As others have noted, no laundry or restaurant on site, so just be prepared

Pros:

Room was very clean spacious no flannel Tho' accessible to market food court just nearby. Outram mrt is 10mints away to go to the city great location and bust stop just around the corner.
