Perfectly located and fantastic facilities at the resort. The resort and resort staff were lovely. The Club Bali apartments however I would not stay again. The whole time the air conditioner leaked, literally water all over the tiled floor, had to keep putting towels down on the floor, told them a few times and never fixed. It says there’s house keeping daily and 24 hour reception. When actually house keeping was every second day, one day we got back and didn’t have towels, when asked they said they were still washing them. Had to use half of them to clean up the floor. Reception was only open 9-10. Not a big deal but shouldn’t advertise it everywhere if it’s not true. The biggest annoyance was the fact that I had arranged late check out before we arrived, all in writing and they confirmed how much it would cost ($40) on the last day I got multiple phone calls and texts and people coming up to me saying I was late to checkout. Even the cleaners. I showed them the proof I had a late checkout till 6pm. Then even after that they said yeah ok $50 extra. I told them no I had already arranged it and it was $40. To that I was told oh special price for you. No that’s the price you gave. Even at 4.30pm staff were asking my daughter when we would be checking out!! Unbelievable! Went and checked out at 5pm and within 30min I was getting phone calls wanting money even though they had my card details. Now I need to make sure they don’t take more than $40. Next time we will stay elsewhere
Great place great position for everything Bali
Good accommodation.
Very rundown..toilet needing repairing 4 times
Water leaking from ceiling in lobby nothing being done about it
Recently stayed here with my two young daughters. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with a sofa bed. Was quite an outdated room but my god it was worth it. It was cleaned every second day + staff & management just went above and beyond to cater our needs. Manager even taking me to and from dentist appointments no money asked for! With the use of jayakarta resort amenities such as breakfast and kids swimming pools ect. I would definitely stay here again!
Affordable and amazing thank you club Bali
Do Not Stay at this Hotel!!! It is so run down and neglected it’s not even worth the cheap nightly price. EVERYTHING is either damaged or faulty. The beds are as soft as a granite floor. The pull out bed/couch in the lounge is so broken that even the cleaner had difficulty putting it back together. Anything fabric has stains on it and the quality of bedding is atrocious.
I noticed some previous guests have mentioned the state of the aircon units, they are 100% correct on all counts. Decrepit, rusted to its core, and leaks. Not only that but they are situated about 2feet away directly outside in line with where you lay your head, and they are overbearingly loud. 100% health risk in the state they are in.
So they say you can use the amenities. Ok well the pool is not at the Club Bali site, it’s down a driveway and through reception of Jayakarta Hotel. Also where the restaurant and food is prepared. Which Club Bali patrons must pay for on the day and trust me they will. I had a different charge almost every day for my 6yo and I to eat breakfast. Menu did not alter during our stay.
So if you want to have a swim, make sure you bring a towel provided by Club Bali as The Jayakarta WILL NOT provide you with a towel to use as with the other guests, citing “different management”. Plus the towels Club Bali provide are worn and old white with blue stripes whereas the Jayakarta provides good quality green and blue towels so definitely one way of making a club Bali guest stand out and feel second class. No matter how polite the towel guys were asked they would not lend a towel to dry off.
But wait there’s more! We had organised transfers to the hotel upon arrival and after the lengthy wait to get thru customs to walk up and down past all the drivers with signs our name was not to be found. For context it was late afternoon. Upon calling the hotel and having a family member that was already at the hotel question the whereabouts, if at all of our driver it quickly became apparent that there was no driver and I would have to find transport to the hotel myself. Mind you I am travelling with my 6yo daughter and it’s her first overseas trip anywhere. We were both stressed out and I was furious with Club Bali as I made sure I had airport transfers. Same when leaving, early morning departure and no one at reception, no driver, nothing! I had to race up to the Jayakarta reception and book a taxi as dragging my daughter and our baggage out to the street was not what I had in mind. Taxi eventually arrived, but the driver took us on a longer route obviously to get more $. I’ve been to Bali 14 times now, I’m 51, and I will NEVER return as not only is the hotel run down, so is Bali itself. Also IT IS NOT AS CHEAP AS IT USED TO BE!! They sting you for everything. The shop items are the worst I’ve ever seen and the harassment to buy by shop vendors is far from pleasant. The food is sub par. You will struggle to find food that a child under 10 enjoys that’s reasonably healthy. I even bought McDonalds for my daughter and my cousins kids and they all said it was yucky.
I’m not finished! My daughter got a small zap when plugging in my iPad, the cords were already in the socket, she was just putting the cord into the iPad and it shocked her.
The hotel backs onto a rubbish tip where they simply dump all the offerings that are collected at the end of each day.
Reception was hit and miss, sometimes there was someone there, sometimes not! I asked for some information on our flights which they said they’d find out for us and they obviously forgot. Don’t book a taxi/driver thru reception as they will rip you off with a smile on their face. For example, a trip to Bali Zoo and back, 7000000Rp. As it was my first day and my daughter really wanted to go I just accepted it not thinking and realised during the trip of how much that actually was. They will try to get you to stop at Silver factories and coffee plantations along the way as they obviously get commission. So basically we are just walking wallets and there is no going above and beyond, it’s the bare minimum for maximum dollar. So I warn anybody contemplating staying at this hotel or actually anyone going to Bali, don’t do it, go somewhere where it’s not a filthy disease ridden and safety and risk factor issue. Save your hard earned cash and spend it on something worthwhile as you will feel ripped off and with not much to show from it if you go to Bali or stay at this hotel. Extremely disappointed and regret both the hotel and destination. Never again!!!
Good stay but facilities were ageing and in need of repair. Great location but not so great for families....too noisy and chaotic.
Was a great hotel once upon a time, is a run down place thats in need of a renovation now
Our son was seriously injured at this hotel due to negligence by the staff. DO NOT STAY HERE.
The property is extremely run down and not taken care of. There was a rat in the roof, it was mold and bug infested, and the air conditioners leaked water creating puddles on the slippery tile floor. Maintenance came and 'fixed' the AC.
But the issue kept occurring. Our son ended up falling and hitting his head so hard we had to take him to the hospital for a CT scan of his head. The manager did not care. We finally got him to agree to cover the hospital bill as our son was injured so to property negligence. Since we left, he has avoided our phone calls and pretends there is no manager. This place does not care about the safety of their guests and families. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This place is a disgusting place to stay and is run by horrible people who do not care about the safety of their guests and their families. We got food poisoning from the restaurant. Our kids ended up getting fevers and needing antibiotics. DO NOT STAY HERE.
The location and shared facilities of the Jayakarta Hotel that you have access to are good, however the state of the two bedroom suites was very disappointing. Heavy mold smell with black mold throughout the air conditioners which look like they hadn’t been cleaned in years to the worn and torn curtains and furniture. Overall I guess you get what you pay for.
Had a massive gastro outbreak no staff attempting to deep clean or manage situation shares facilities with jayakarta. Apartment dirty and furniture old and dirty and uncomfortable bedding
Lovely staff!
This is part of the jayakarta hotel property.
The club Bali family suites is a little run down and old… and in need of a refresh/redecorating/renovation. But if you are out of the room most of the time enjoying other activities in Bali… it won’t matter too much.
Staff do try their best. Seems like they also know the place badly needs a refresh
When we first arrived we thought that we had been conned.. the property actually sits inside another beautiful resort which is what is pictured, the property you are paying for is very old and run down looking. But we thought we wouldn’t be in the room much so it would be okay.
We booked a family suite for 2 adults two children, one queen bed and a sofa bed, one tiny thin sheet for the main bed and the air conditioner was broken and stuck on 20 degrees which sounds great but it gets very cold over night.
We asked for pillows and sheets for our kids
We got one small decorative pillow and a thin blanket that was stiff with age and they claimed that’s all they had. And the lounge air con was also broken. 4 remotes in the room for two air cons and none actually controlled the units.
We asked for more towels they were stained heavily. The bathroom has mould and the shower head is so built up with grime that the water can barely get through. This was all in the first hour. So we thought we would visit the beautiful pool, asked for pool towels and were again handed tomatoe sauce stained towels, and were told there was actually no pool on site and we could use the other resorts pool and facilities. We asked for blankets and pillows throughout the stay and were met with them not having enough. We got Bali belly and spent 12 hours listening to hammering on our wall whilst they renovated the room next to us.
The resort that was pictured in the ad that we could use was beautiful.
Some apartments better than others, bed was comfortable
We had small balcony, friends had big balcony in complex opposite. Not bad for price in good location close to restaurants, shopping and coffee. Felt safe, cheap option for families if no interconnecting rooms available.
Was amazing walk down to jayakata alsome pool and good food overall recommend this place we stayed 5 nights with our 3 kids and loved it
.
Very small hotell with rooms. Not same as expedia post. They are using from other places nearby.
The staff were lovely. Just the hotel wasn't we expected
Was very good for the price. Some rooms are better than others though. I recommend a two bedroom apartment.
