元々宿泊予定だった部屋の鍵が開かず困っていたところ、すぐに別の部屋を案内してくれました。
全くありません。
赤坂見附の駅から近く、宿泊で必要なものはすべて揃っている点。
お水を自分で選んで持っていけるのと、コーヒーや紅茶などがドリンクフリーなところもとても良かったです。
特にありません。
もし今後改善ということであれば、モーニングのパンのなかに、小さくて良いので食パンやミニバゲットなど、プレーンなパンが1種類あると嬉しいと思いました。
Good location. Friendly staff
We had originally booked a 4-night stay at Granbell Akasaka Hotel, however after our first night we made the difficult decision to check out early and find alternative accommodation due to several concerns with the condition of the room.
Firstly, I want to acknowledge the staff - they were genuinely excellent throughout our stay. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, they even provided complimentary wine, which was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated.
Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel itself did not match the level of service provided by the staff.
The first issue we noticed was in the bathroom. There appears to be no extraction fan or adequate ventilation, which caused the entire bathroom to become heavily steamy during and after showering, with moisture spreading into the rest of the room. Looking more closely, what we initially thought was dark grout between the tiles appeared to actually be black mould. As we inspected further, we found this throughout much of the shower area and also in sections of the bathroom ceiling.
We raised this with reception and the team arranged what was described as a “deep clean”, which we appreciated, however unfortunately the condition did not noticeably improve.
We also noticed black mould around the window seals and on parts of the curtains.
In addition to this, the room felt extremely dusty, particularly around the air conditioning vents and on surrounding surfaces and walls.
When the air conditioning was turned off, there was a strong unpleasant smell in the room. After spending several hours trying to sleep, both my wife and I developed significant headaches overnight.
The following morning, we also noticed a strong sewage smell in the hallway immediately outside our room.

Has to be one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve seen. There were finger prints visible in the room, layer of dust on the headboard of the bed, thick layer of mold in the lamps, around the shower curtain and behind the desk. Since there was no balcony the heat from the shower couldn’t escape and fogged the room for some time which probably also caused the intense mold.

Breakfast was ok
The hotel rooms were ridiculously tiny – my friend and I couldn't even squeeze onto the same bed. We forked out an extra $690 for three days to get extra room, but after that, they were fully booked, and we decided to check out. It was a complete misadventure.
