Not Value for Money when the Property is charging you USD 200+ Per night
Pros:

If you are driving your own car, becareful, the Parking is absolutely in an open Dirty space, where there is no Security, no camera and no control of the Hotel. They can arrange parking in theit other Hotel in Pilbhit House , but never updated until unless this drawback was brought out to the reception Team.

Cons:

Rooms with No Window , totally Closed , and a Group like Taj Hotel ( IHCL Selequtions) is mentioning the rooms as CourtYeard facing, Our Rooms #305,#306 did not either had window , nor close to Courtyerd.
Entrance is through narrow, dirty alley , need to be picked up by Rickshaw from Parking which is about 1 Kilometer away.

Thoroughly Enjoyed the stay … the location, staff, morning havan, flute, bhajan, personalised aarti on their own ghat.
Pros:

the Location, the view balcony (common), the staff, the old look

Cons:

some facilities did not match the price
1. there was no slipper available in the room
2. WC, it’s seat etc are of poor quality
3. Ganges view was shared and was not from inside the room. There was hardly any difference between an ordinary room and a premium room inspite of the fact that charges were more than double

Haridwar trip
Pros:

The location is perfect if the visit is for religious purposes. Har ki pauri is just walking distance from the property. One can just sit on the hotel terrace facing the Ganga river & get lost in devotional feeling . The staff is very polite & prompt & make one feels at home. The food quality is also very good but one would expect more variety in the food options

The room rates are a bit pricey though

Mr. Pankaj has taken the best shot to RUIN our one day stay in your grand but cheap service property
Pros:

1. Hotel having private ghat
2. Good Food
3. Balcony Room experience was good

Cons:

1. Rude Staff - especially Mr. Pankaj has turned out all the hotel experience bitter for us with his behaviour and tone.
2. Property is prime but not worth the amount asked. We ended up paying ~50K+/day but the facility provided like pick up and drop from hotel facility was not given as its mentioned specifically while booking the room ,Fruit basket arrangements were done after we made a call to reception, Bath robs were not there in the room and also, our spa experience was also on a toss.
3. Poor Services -
a) We had senior citizen and a kid along with the luggage, we needed the guidance and facility to pick and drop at hotel/parking. We had to search the property in crowd with luggage at the time of arrival, parking was 500m away from the hotel. DISCLAIMER for others - There is NO PARKING of the Hotel. Be prepared to pay for parking.
b) Mr. Pankaj - At the time of checking out, we requested Pankaj to make an arrangement for our mother and kid atleast to drop them at parking. As we could see the e-rickshaw standing at the hotel door and as well as in the parking area (We do have the pictures for reference if needed). But, Pankaj directly refused to make an arrangement by taunting us - the entire world is walking outside why do you people requesting for this !
c) Spa - We opted for Foot reflexology for our mother for 30 mins + complimentary massage of 10 mins. But smart people have automatically considered the mix of both resulting sending our mother back in 20 mins in total.
d) Palmist - Ended up asking for money at the end which was supposed to be complimentary in the name "Shraddha"

In short, Please adhere to the given name of the property and stop looting people on vintage interior. Start providing the level of services which matches the amount of the stay and help in making it worth while for the tourists who come all over the world to your place. STOP ENTERTAINING PEOPLE LIKE Mr.

Very good service, rooms could be better appointed, food good. Helplessly location access was bad.
Pros:

They have excellent service, food was good, buffet dinner was slightly pricier.

Cons:

Access and limitations to explore the area; nothing the hotel could have done with rain and endless travellers.
