Wrong time of year?
Pros:

It might be the time of the year but the hotel was quite desolate and the restaurant was closed although they did serve breakfast.

The reception and housekeeping were excellent!

Pros:

The room and bed did not much what I reserved, staff expected unreasonable tip, so much so one housekeeper took 50 RD just for showing me my room. Sheets were not changed, room and deck were not cleaned in a regular bases. Moreover, they charged my credit card for a lunch that I already paid for in cash.

Beautiful location. Just a pity that the TV reception and channels were of such poor quality. They did however advise that they are in the process of upgrading the TV system.
Room service was expensive

Non existent TV channels.
Pros:

The TV selection at this Hotel is dismal...all I could get was SABC 1, SABC 2, SABC 3, and ETV.
Who still watches these TV channels I am not sure? I wont be staying here again, although I really enjoy the Hotel/Lodge, still such time as they increase the selection of TV channels to watch. In addition, upon my arrival I was asked to pay, even though I had paid in advance and upon checking out, asked to pay ONCE AGAIN....this time a different amount to the one that requested when I checked in????? The fact hat I provided proof of payment upon arrival, seemed to be inconsequential.
