We stayed 1 noght at Hotel Ultonia in Girona, Spain. Very mice locations jist a 12 minute walk to the traim station and 7 minute walk to the old town with all konds of shops, restaurants and sites. Hotel staff were all very friendly. Room was a little dated amd the beds were a bit stiff but overall its a nice hotel. I would stay again.
Room itself was very large with 2 full bathrooms. I would have given it 5 stars but there is some renovations going on so it wasnt perfect. Staff was pleasant, breaky also quite good. Great value over all.
Cheers
A very comfortable and well priced hotel in a central location in Girona. Very friendly staff and I thoroughly recommend the breakfast
Excellent location, clean and quiet air conditioning. Reno was going on so there was no lobby.
Great location. Easy walk from the bus station. Room as expected, functional & clean. Bed comfy. Booked based on location, price and rooftop bar which were all good.
We had great weather so used our balcony but the seats were quite uncomfortable.
A pleasant hotel - clean and safe with a helpful staff. Not packed with character but overall a good place to stay while in Girona
Nuestro hotel preferido en Girona, hemos estado 3 veces y siempre egresados
Check in staff were not knowledgeable about the area at all. They had no recommendations for restaurants or tours. Rooms were only okay
The hotel was in a good location and the staff was excellent.
Great situation and the most lovely, helpful staff.
Staff were wonderful. Buffet breakfast was excellent.
Location with regard to the old town, was 1 block and you were in the middle of history.
Excelente ubicación! Habitación amplia y comoda. Lo mejor: el blackout. Te deja dormir increible
What can I say about this Hotel, it was Amazing and was even better then what I was expecting. The room was amazing and the bathroom very clean with an amazing shower that you could spend all day in.
The location was amazing, less than 3 minutes to the lovely square with restaurants and Girona town centre with all the attractions.
The train station is only a 15 minutes walk away if you fancy a day out in Barcelona.
There is an outdoor pool centre less then 15 minutes walk away which for 7 euros for the day is amazing value with excellent changing facilities and sunbeds and lots of area and the pool was very clean and big enough.
I would highly recommend this hotel the staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were like I said outstanding.
We will certainly be coming back.
Thanks again Hotel Ultonia

Location is perfect - between the old town and the new . Everything within walking distance..Also the standard of food at breakfast was superb for a hotel of this level
Lovely modern hotel, staff really helpful, centre of girona,
Good area, helpful staff and clean
In my opinion they should have an ice machine, better tv channels. The original lobby is being renovated that the reason isn’t quite enough.
But definitely I suggest this hotel for everyone.
The staff atencions are for 5 points.
They having one breakfast excellent in offers, fruit, food and the orange juices are completely at 5 start in Euro and USA to.
Two girls (i'm soo sorry, not remember hers names) are very nice and professional all time.
Thanks for all.
This place is for back in the future.
Thank you very much guys!
Parking spot far too narrow
Nowhere written that hotel is under construction
There is nothing wrong with the property - it is conveniently located and the staff are very professional.
Most simply put the building is aging, the pipes are old and despite a light facelift the property feels dated and the plumbing a bit smelly and the toilets a little janky.
The rooms are clean-ish, the air conditioning works very well, the showers have great water pressure and the price is fair. It’s a no frills hotel within walking distance of shops and restaurants as well as the lovely park Devesa nearby.
One thing to mention - the one site parking is convenient but very tightly configured underground and those with non-compact cars should think twice.
This hotel is very centrally located. The hotel is across the street from Placa de la Independencia and walking distance to all sites that Girona has to offer (unless I missed some of them).
We were walking distance to the metro (which was great because we arrived via train from Madrid, went to and from Figueres and went to Barcelona all walking distance to the hotel).
The hotel is under renovation which didn't affect us but the lobby was a little sad and unwelcoming (as it virtually did not exist) but despite the entrance the rest of the hotel is very decent with a nice patio with great views. Our room was on the 7th floor and we had a nice view. The lavabo in our room had old charm to it.
The buffet is really nice but unfortunately I didn't have much of an appetite that day to eat my money's worth and I'm still thinking about all the foods that I wanted to try but didn't get to.
Girona in itself was a lot nicer than I had expected and two nights were sufficient here.
I don't know how I missed it but this hotel was a lot more expensive than I thought, perhaps when I booked I went off the Euro price (but it came to $200+CAN/ night), but for the short time we stayed here I suppose it was worth it to have the hotel so centrally located and we didn't have to pay for metro/ taxis as it is very walkable.
