Adequate rustic hotel stay for start of NC500
Pros:

Friendly staff
Spacious parking
Breakfast was good
Nice reading room lobby

Cons:

Older bits of tartan carpet needs deep cleaning
Separate water taps in bathroom sink
Shower was on old hot water system, difficult to adjust temperature between warm and boiling

Hyvä sijainti ja helppo löytää. Vastaanotolla ollut nainen (anteeksi, en enää muista nimeä) oli älyttömän auttavainen ja super mukava! Olimme vain yhden yön ja kaikki tarvittava löytyi huoneesta, rauhallinen ympäristö eikä muualta kuulunut mitää häiritsevää. Aamupala oli yllättävän kattava, perinteinen brittiaamupala. Hieman ehkä vanha tyyli, mutta se toi osakseen tunnelmaa.

Cons:

Jos ei välitä vanhasta tyylistä voi paikka tuntua aikamatkalta. Mikään super luksushotelli ei ole kyseessä.

Excellent location hotel near Loch Ness
Pros:

Walking distance to the village and not too far from Loch Ness. Car park is on a small side, but we had no issue during our stay.

Breakfast was very good: hot buffet, nice coffee, fruit and yogurt. We did not experience the restaurant or the bar in the hotel.

The hotel is old and does need an upgrade, however the room and the sheets, the towels were super clean.

Cons:

It is expensive for the standard of the property.

Mooi hotel, jammer van t ontbijt

De ligging

Cons:

Werd niet verteld hoe laat ontbijt was toen we om 9:30 kwamen waren ze aan het afsluiten en konden we niet meer ontbijten, muziek werd uitgedaan en personeel ging weg. Andere gasten gaven ons een yoghurtje. Nog niet een kopje thee gekregen

Breakfast was decent.

Cons:

Decor is dated, it's dark and like something out of a gothic horror! Our room was optimistically called a suite but it was no different to a normal room. The bed was so uncomfortable- I didn't sleep.well at all. The mattress should have been thrown out years ago. The prices in the bar are eye wateringly expensive £17.50 for a bottle of beer and a glass of fairly ordinary red wine.

Breakfast was good staff friendly and helpful ,receptionist very kind and helpful, just found the room a bit cold during the night ,but otherwise all good 👍

Cons:

More tea/ milk in the roo.
