Underbart läge och väldigt trevlig personal som tar hand om gästerna på bästa sätt. Frukosten på terrassen var helt fantastisk. Det är charmigt och vackert på ett stilfullt sätt.

Beautiful hotel and staff were amazing. It felt very special and grand.

Look no further. This is the place.It is truly sublime. I stayed for four nights and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful.
The location is excellent: situated on a quiet plaza with great bars, restaurants, and a Sunday farmers market. There aren't the heavy tourist crowds and chain stores of the center. 
The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. I was travling alone and I'm always worried I will be put in a closet type or less desirable room. Quite the opposite here, I was given an exceptional room with lovely views. 
The only drawback was that there is no discount for single occupants, and I was required to pay for two breakfasts each morning at approximately 30-40 euros each and I'm not a big breakfast eater/
The quality of the room and the overall experience made the extra cost worth it.
I particularly enjoyed the terrace, the delicious cocktails, and relaxing in the bathtub after long days of  sightseeing.
There was a little street noise, especially on Saturday night but it didn't bother me.
I cannot recommend this place enough.

Wonderful views and location, attentive staff, and a great breakfast

The hotel is a beautiful old palace right next to a nice quiet piazza, with big hotel rooms. The location is amazing being quite calm but still very close to all the major sights.

Our room was right next to the rooftop bar, but there was only a very slight disturbance from the bar and it closes at 23 so it wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately on a pretty evening all the tables at the bar were full so even the hotel guests couldn't get a table, which was a bit annoying.

The breakfast was very good considering it's a continental breakfast and the views from the breakfast table were amazing. The personnel were also really nice.

The only downside was that the hotel reception and the rooms were on the 4th floor with only a small elevator, which got crowded often. Also the rooms were quite noisy. The view from the room was very nice over the rooftops of Florence.

Would've given 5 stars but the price was a bit too high. We paid 300 euros per night and it was the off season. The facilities were not quite up to the high price

The location is perfect - we love being in the Oltrarno and on Piazza Santo Spirito. We enjoyed the view from our room of the Pitti Palace. We also liked the overall ambience and feel of the hotel - the opposite of being in a chain hotel. The renovation has been sympathetically done with lovely soft colours - and of course the Loggia! We will definitely be coming back.

Unique hotel with classic rooms and great outdoor area on the 3rd floor to enjoy food and drinks. Breakfast was delicious and staff were awesome.

It was breathtaking— the view of Florence from our window made me gasp and stop to savor it. The room and bathroom were large and comfortable, with good reading chairs. The location was superb— a shirt walk from plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and wine cars. A short walk to all main attractions. Extremely warm and kind staff.
