Pros:

Staff were lovely and helpful/friendly

Cons:

Decor needs to be updated. Expensive pricing for what it delivered. Value for money wasn’t great

Pros:

The location is great as is the shuttle service to and from the town centre. The food and service at both the restaurant and breakfast room were both excellent without anything being too much trouble for the friendly and attentive staff. The hotel staff without exception were the best!

Pros:

Staff are all friendly and very willing to help with advice.
The whole hotel and grounds are maintained to a high standard..
Room was a great size and despite being over the restaurant was quiet.
Breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room had a small number of outside tables. Lots of lovely things for breakfast and a hot selection too.
We liked the shuttle bus service that took us to town. A great little plus

Cons:

Building work going on next door. Lots of clanking of heavy plant made sitting by the pool not so relaxing. We were not advised of this at the time of booking

The shower was so complicated to work in the room and one day the room was not made up and we also struggled with the sockets, some did not work or were very temperamental.
One day the WiFi did not work although the hotel let us know they were working on it and it was resolved.

Exceeded Expectations
Pros:

A really nice hotel. Beautiful gardens, plenty of genuinely smiling staff in all departments. Very good breakfast . We stayed in one of the 2 storey cottages which had the benefit of an upstairs terrace with sun all day and lovely views to the hills. But it was a bit noisy during the day from nearby winetram and work in the fields opposite. If we went again we'd go for one of the villa suites.

It's a bit out of town but the free shuttle worked a treat.

Cons:

The restaurant isn't the best in town but with so many others to choose from, who cares.

Excellent place for a relaxing time
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a wonderful tranquil location.
The staff were absolutely fantastic -nothing was too much trouble for them
The villas were spacious and well appointed.

Would certainly recommend this elegant property in a beautiful part of the world.
Pros:

Tranquil setting. Wonderful staff. Magnificent food in the lovely restaurant. Shuttle system works well into the town and the ease of communication via what’s app with reception was swift and welcomed.

Slice of heaven in wine country
Pros:

Location was amazing and spacious and quiet. But the highlight was the staff. From check in to check out, via breakfast lunch dinner and pool service, they were all amazing, helping us entertain our 8 month old daughter

Prima maar geen vijf sterren.
Pros:

Grote kamer met zonnig terras. Lekker restaurant en personeel dat erg zijn best doet. Heel goed ontbijt.

Cons:

Verouderd. Lawaaierig. Accommodatie ligt aan drukke weg en aan de achterzijde komt de Franchhoek tram enkele keren per uur langs. Geen waterdruk op de douche.
