Exactly what we wanted staff brilliant location great value for money outstanding
Pros:

Brilliant place nothing fancy but absolutely superb for stopover with Gatwick also very close to Horley

Didnt meet are requirements and not very pleasant

Liked that the hotel was close to gatwick airport and that is all.

Cons:

Room was very dated and worn and carpet not very clean as well as hairs in the shower and one of the plug sockets not secured on wall and was taped to it. Did not cater for my gluten free request and breakfast items of low grade quality and no proper orange or apple juice for was just squash.

Breakfast was nice abit of a bonus because we had to leave in the early hours for our flight so nice to have something to eat .

Not as pictured, incredibly filthy, sleep on the street-it’s cleaner.

The person who checked me in was kind, and that was literally the only positive thing about this stay.

How does this carry a “7” on Booking.com? This hotel is not as advertised at all. It was so insanely filthy. The curtains didn’t cover the windows. There was mold on the cabinets. The shower drain was clogged. There was dust and hair all over the floor. There was “pest repellent” near the bed 🤢. No air conditioning, very hot. I did not go to the continental breakfast, the place was so dirty, I would not eat there.
Booking needs to change its rating scale if this accommodation had been ranked a 7. I have slept in cleaner garages. Every cheap hostel I have ever stayed in around the world was cleaner than this place. It was horrifying.

Cons:

Well,,,, the shower head was a bit too high,,, light was a string to pull on....the stairs need a stair lift or ride chair up. Dinner was amazing delicious. Staff very helpful.
