Good location, good ambience but very old property which definitely needs renovation.

The staffs were very warm & welcoming, the breakfast spread was good. The hotel reception was lobby was nice. The rooms were spacious . The

The property is very old , the carpets, the mirror all are old. There was a pungent smell thats coming out of the carpets. The toilet sink was not working properly. The water was dripping from the health faucet. All the switches, electronics in the hotel rooms were very old

Never going back.

Cons:

the most unhelpful staff ever. They could not book a taxi for me. Insisted on using the Hotel car which was exorbitant. The telephone in the room was not working and inspite of lodging a complaint no one bothered to look into it. The musty smell in the room was unbearable and they could do nothng about it.

Insects flying around, broken shower, no beer stock in the bar.. Can keep saying many things. Sadly this place is being ignored. And they charged more than some of the best 5* hotels I have stayed recently in chennai. Never again.

Firstly staffs are very rude
And the rooms Wer not that great it’s old
The main thing staff in the reception I am not sure what’s his name but he was very very rude to my parents and to me.
He just know to speak without knowledge
Will not recommend this hotel to anyone

Good but not to the same level where it used to be. I am staying here since 1997
Pros:

Breakfast was good- absence of various types of cheese was there.
Location is good and close to airport allowing travel to either direction effortlessly

Cons:

Washrooms are very old and dated and inconvenient.
Good to see plastic water bottles coming in instead of glass which were difficult to open due to rotation of caps. Plastic should be recycled.

Selbst in Indien habe ich bei 5 Sterne besseres erlebt
Pros:

Toller Swimmingpool mit Öffnungszeiten von 7-21 Uhr. Großartiges Frühstück, auch europäisch, wenn auch weniger. Klimaanlage funktionierte. Sehr nettes Servicepersonal.

Cons:

Baustellenlärm (durch geschlossene Fenster) ohne Hinweis darauf. Ok, kann man durchgehen lassen. Europäische Übernachtungspreise ohne europäischen Standart. Ibis Hotel Niveau ist dagegen gehoben.
Im Zimmer roch es unangenehm, vielleicht vom fleckigen Teppichboden. Lavede Steckdosen. Verstaubte Lampen, angeschmutzte Gardinen, Flecken auf Bettwäsche, Zigarettenstummel en masse auf dem Balkon. Kein Mückenschutz. Abholservice vom Flughafen hat nicht funktioniert.
