The boys at the retaurant where polite; the manager at the restaurant was not well behaved and rude.
Room had torn mattress; carpets were all stained; toilet paper rolls not chnaged; all doors and wardrobes full of dust and dirty; one llok at the balcny and we will vomit; was so so dirty for a 12000INR pay per night! Will never recommend this hotel. Stinky and dirty.
Only thing that was good about this hotel is royal lobby and decent breakfast options, even though staff was not refilling missing foods for over 20 minutes, which is definitely not a 5-star hotel standard.
Rooms are plain ugly, they look like they haven't been renovated since 1980's. Bathroom mirrors were scratched, black fungus around and toilets had cheap flimsy toilet seats. Quality of items in the room was poor as well, cheap plastic trays, old kettle, ugly cups and generally it felt more like 2-star hotel room facilities. Room was insanely cold all the time (even with AC switched off) and windows were facing the lobby, which again, might be fun 50 years ago, but not today. We could hear people chatting in the lobby the whole night and there's nothing you can do to have a silent night rest.
hotel is going through renovation. Rooms are old and worn out.
Did nor like rooms , upkeep of rooms and cleanliness.
Comfortable rooms Close to the at Helpful staff
No problem with anything
Proximité aéroport
Sanitaires vétustes, odeur dans les couloirs
L’hôtel a besoin d’un bon coup de rénovation pour mériter ses étoiles. Elles sont filées depuis certainement qq années.
This property should just shutdown! Its a miracle that its operational. In no shape and form can it be called a hotel. From rooms to staff to food, everything seems totally off.
Since Hotel industry is a continuous support and service provider,, Le Royal Meridien Chennai stands top most hotel in stay, cleanliness, amenities, royal touch, calm and serene environment. Chairman ,, Mr Palani G. Periyasamy is an excellent mentor and grt hearted person . My heart thrilled and felt overjoy, when I experienced my stay here. When I step in to relinquish my appetite at the food court area in the hotel ,, amazing lip smacking dishes which swayed the taste buds to the top rated food delicacies. Mr . Murali. N ( manager ) ,, he played a vital role to his team to set the top priority goals in maintaining the standards, he made our breakfast time conversational , though being a manager ,, he walked the milestone to prepare tea for us. He's the best manager I've interacted. He brought the grt smile on our face. Aashish Rai ( serving staff ) ,, he's an excellent care taker,, grt comforter with his gentle smile and confidence in his service. He's a gem in conducting himself with humility and grt devotion to keep the customer happy and satisfactory. He's a super hero in service industry. Venus, NukshiMenla , are two wonderful human beings who r loving and smiling and touchy with their kind and benevolent gestures. Alas Pandian Raja made us comfortable and served us the desired dish with a pleasing heart.
Location:
More than 70% of the time, taxis or Uber drivers make illegal turns when entering or exiting the hotel — this appears to be a systemic issue.
Rooms:
Generally acceptable, but the electrical systems are outdated. There were also a few mosquitoes in the room.
Bathrooms:
Run-down and in need of modernization.
Air Conditioning:
Inconsistent performance. It seems to be switched off around midnight, as the room becomes noticeably warmer during the night.
