The hotel is at the end of the hotel zone and has a lot of seaside frontage. Unfortunately, they were unable to clean up the inundation of seaweed and it was stinky. They have added some nice activities such as yoga, birding excursions and cooking/cocktail class. The people who work there are nice but the hotel has seen better days.
Our room was dark with an obstructed view of the water. Make sure you book a room upstairs. Bedding and towels were worn. This room could use a refresh.
Best location for access to the sandbanks. It was so quiet and peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and the pools are very clean.
The stars at night are incredible-especially since it is the last hotel before the conservation area.
It’s right on the ocean so it was about 30 paces from our room into the water. Most of the other hotels you have to cross the street to get to the beach but this one you don’t.
The room was very clean and well appointed. Even though it said it was Garden view we still had a beautiful view of the ocean. I’ve never wanted to hang out on a hotel balcony before, but we did at this place!
Bed was comfortable. I really liked that they give you a beach bag to use while you’re there.
The included breakfast was great and they had more to order if you wanted.
The staff is super friendly and helpful.

It was peaceful and very refreshing experience. The staff is so nice and attentive to your needs. The room is very nice. Bed is very comfy. There is a TV in room but we only used it one night of our 10 night stay.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Las Nubes. We came for a friend’s wedding and the staff was considerate and attentive to every detail. Breakfast was delicious and our room was clean every day with fresh towels available on request. Communication was very efficient and handled through WhatsApp. Would highly recommend the hotel for couples or friends.
The hotel is on a more secluded part of the island so it is nice and quiet, and you can have nice walks on the sand bar.

Review — Las Nubes (Holbox)
Located at the far east end of the island, we came here mainly to enjoy the beach — and it was absolutely worth it. The beach access package costs 1200 pesos for two chairs, which includes 1000 pesos in credit for food and drinks. In the end, it’s roughly $7 CAD per person for the chairs and about $70 CAD in credit per person, which is a great deal.
Drinks are affordable, and we ordered picanha (steak) with fries. The steak was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend the fries, as they weren’t very good. There are probably better options on the menu, but we decided not to order more food.
We actually came here twice, because the beach is incredible. When we return to Holbox, we will definitely stay here.
The location is far from downtown, so I recommend taking a golf cart taxi or renting bikes to get around. The service from the staff was excellent, and from this location it’s easy to walk to Punta Mosquito — about 3 km along the beach.
I have rarely seen something this beautiful. Some people even said it feels similar to the Maldives.
I highly recommend this place for the beach and the endless sandbanks you can walk on for kilometers.

The stay included a free breakfast which was good but the waiters were slow and our waiter served my son Nutella even after we carefully explained in Spanish that he has a severe nut allergy.

No hay nada que no me guste. Pero hay qye saber qué esta lejos del centro. Y esto es gran parte de su encanto. Son unos 2 kms aprox. Puedes bajar tranquilamente paseando por la playa. Coger un taxi por 200 pesos o quedarte en el hotel y no salir. Tienes paea elegir.
