Breakfast was let down by dry, left under the lights bacon and black pudding. Coffee not the best.

Everything about my stay was excellent,lovely settings,the room was brilliant and the staff were awesome lovely people.
The drinks and the food was very very expensive.

Hotel was very nice indeed but spoiled by terribly tough piece of slow cooked beef. All three of us complained about it.
Spoiled the visit as the meal with relatives was the main object of the visit.

Bedroom and bathroom were very good and clean, the staff were very attentive, bar area was very quiet and relaxing

Dated, in need of update,rooms not disable friendly ,booked an executive suite told by manager they dont do executive suites but we were charged extra for it by expedia.
30 degrees outside no aircon or fridge in rooms.
Beautiful grounds staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms are large but beds falling apart, carpet stained and small tv with teletex ,must be 20yrs old ,wifi hit and miss.

Reception staff re located our room to a ground floor to help with accessibility needs.

Disposable plastic cups/glasses sealed in plastic bags in the bathroom instead of real glass. All the condiments at dinner are in plastic sachets, so not very eco friendly
It was terrible in the breakfast room. It was so quiet that people were whispering to each other. I asked the staff to put some background music on, but they had no idea how to go about it. Asked for coffee, got tea

Lovely hotel and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Service was impeccable. Food was great had a fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection.
There were some areas of the hotel that need attention and said to the reception at checkout that the pillows were flat and could do with some new ones. Other than that we had a really lovely stay.

We got to our room around 1:30am after a wedding reception had ended, to find our bed was absolutely soaked with water from a leaking ceiling directly above. You could tell from the browning that this was a long-lasting issue. The receptionist seemed to be aware of the leak, and found us another room after about 20 minutes trying to locate his manager. We received no apology, nor were we offered any kind of refund or goodwill gesture. Apart from that, the bathroom was spacious and stunning, and the breakfast was great.

Set in own grounds, back from busy roads, providing good car parking facility. Spacious hotel, poiite, helpful staff. Good restaurant and bar facilities. Good breakfast choice. Good night rest.

Very welcoming, pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely old characterful building set in beautiful, well kept grounds. Rooms are a little tired but very clean. Our allocated room was rather drab in decor and also faced the busy road, resulting in traffic noise. On request, we were offered another room which was cheerier, brighter and quieter. Dinner in the courtyard was lovely and breakfast in the Garden Room was also excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful atmosphere, lovely staff, food 10/10 room service very good , there was a wedding on at the time . Good choice guys!
