Lovely Hotel, very clean and staff were exceptional

Lovely clean and quiet room. Very good toiletries. Great breakfast selection beautifully cooked. This was our second visit and dinner was as exceptional the first time.

Staff very nice, professional and friendly. Restaurant food was exceptional but on the dear side. Room was clean and ok size but requires able bodied people due to stairs.
Would have been better with an independent shower in the room. Lounge seating could do with updating.

No fridge in the rooms , rooms need better cleaning including carpets need washing stains on pillows blanket etc housekeeping needs improvement basically greeting at the reception including frontline staff absolutely amazing beyond expectations but as I said housekeeping for rooms needs major maintenance improvement by the way door Matt was on the sofa looks like someone not happy with her wage at the reception Laura and Helen you are absolutely amazing thank you for ur help and support

Evening dinner was extremely good. Fine dining experience. Log fire in reception hall was perfect for relaxing around before and after dinner. Perfect location for walking into Lincoln along the riverside (I took the local bus back). Staff were highly courteous and professional.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the host showed me to my room to avoid any confusion so this was really helpful. The hotel itself is stunning, an absolute pleasure to be able to stay there and has excellent scenery. The facilities excellent with tea and coffee in the room, the hotel clean and tidy, including the room, great value for money and an excellent location with a couple of nice pubs locally, was able to park easy with plenty of space. Food was amazing on the evening, I had to leave early on the morning, staff did their best to accommodate me with a little hot food, so this very kind of them, I utilised the continental and this was very pleasant, so overall a great experience and I will return on my next visit.
