Freshly renovated historical building in an exceptional place - the main square of the city's Old Town. Everything is great - style, place, staff, and a perfect breakfast.
The soundproofing is better than average - one can't hear the people's voices from neighbouring rooms or from the street. The problem is the room door's lock and the mechanics in general. The room door itself is very solid, heavy, with soundproofing. Unfortunately, to close the door, one needs to push it harder. The door doesn't always close if pushed gently. Pushed hard, it closes perfectly, but the door's lock sounds like a shot. When the guest in the neighbourhood returns late at night, or leaves the room early in the morning, the room's lock makes a loud shot-like sound. It very possibly will wake you up. And it repeats a few times every morning and every evening. Less careful guests close the door very loudly.
One possible solution is to change the door locks/mechanics to quieter. Yes, it's a bit expensive work, but the comfort level will increase significantly.
One day we stayed longer in a hotel room. Around midday, the cleaning staff started working in the rooms on our floor, making a terrible noise when opening and closing the rooms' doors. One girl moved the furniture in the neighbour's room as if she were fighting for her life. Using a vacuum cleaner as a torpedo attacking the walls, very noisy. Probably, some training could help a bit, or maybe some staff changes.

Maybe the signature scent is a little unneccessary (some of us have perfume allergies).
good, central location
we booked the standard room but we received one in the upper floor with sloping roof which cut into the room quite a bit. the room had a rather small attic window and thus the room was very dark.
also, the staff told us that the breakfast is until 11AM. we later learned that this time is only for the weekends and had to go find our own breakfast.

Amazing stay. The place was modern and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended place in Klaipeda.
