The controls for the lights were so electronically complicated we couldn't figure them out. Frustrating.

Noise in the evening. Packed bar in the evening, not by hotel guests. Slow service in bar and for breakfast.
great location and a lovely room
Couldn't get anything to eat on the first evening due to a technical issue. When we asked about this the following morning we were told it was due to a lack of staff! Whatever the issue it would have been helpful to have been advised when booking in that food wasn't available in the evening.
Breakfast on the 2nd morning when there were 2 other tables in for food took 3/4 of an hour to be served!
Lovely big spacious room for spending the night.

Das Zimmer war groß, geräumig und was sehr schön zum Thema-Zimmer eingerichtet.
Das Bett war super bequem und die Anzahl verschiedenen Kissen!
Es ist äußerst hellhörig!
Und eine WC-Bürste wäre schon auch von Vorteil. 😉

No WiFi, reception telephone not answered for 15 mins had to go down . Couldn’t change Aircon to heating so the room cold, but Staff sorted it . No slippers with bathrobe. No coffee machine , kettle leaking water running thru it so no tea or coffee , only noticed in the morning, sure they would have replaced had I asked. No pencil to complete feedback card. Bathroom light didn’t go off, was on a timer ? so room was bright till 3am ( Glassed bathroom , Los Angeles suite 205 )
Shower over bath (no grab rail ) we are in our 60’s , just not our choice of shower !
This was a suite so really fell way below standard . Just a shame really , stayed twice before but not since 2019 . Think Saturday nights are all about the Shanghai nightclub , music blaring , thumping till 3am . Our fault should have checked reviews before booking. So wouldn’t stay again sadly but lovely staff.

Been visiting LeMonde for years never reviewed until today. Always loved the Reykjavik cocktail unfortunately they took it off the menu. Totally devastated. But the manager Jordan went above and beyond and made it for me. Considering the crucial ingredient wasn’t available he’d did wonders and made it almost perfect. He truly went that extra mile to please a very fussy customer. This is the type of service that will make me return again and again.
We booked a long weekend to celebrate my son’s 30th birthday.
The weather was great, the hotel is well appointed and the staff were very nice. Sadly the noise from the club and bar in the hotel ruined our sleep for 2 of the 3 nights.
I know people have mentioned noise in other reviews but it isn’t a slight inconvenience, it is a huge problem.
The noise on Saturday from the bar on the ground floor was invasive and permeated through the walls and floors and you could escape it. We even bought earplugs but you could feel the noise so they were a waste of money.
I did raise this with reception as we checked out and got a nonchalant response.
When I contacted the hotel after I did even get a reply.
Unless you can sleep through anything, avoid staying on Fridays and Saturdays.
A real shame as the rest of our trip was fantastic
Location was very good and room was excellent.
Lots of places near by for great food.
Do not stay here on a Saturday night. 2 discos in hotel and we were on the 2nd floor and it was still very loud until 2am
