Ruim opgezet
Pros:

Het was een ruime kamer met goede bedden. Het hele hotel is ruim opgezet.

Er waren bij aankomst heel veel muggen op de kamer!

Very comfortable and an enjoyable stay. Approximately 30-40mins to get into Leiden old city.
Pros:

Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in and check out. Approx 15min walk to Sassenheim train station. 8-10mins from Buses into Leiden. Not too expensive for a 6 day stay for conference in Leiden.

A lovely place to stay!
Pros:

A lovely hotel. We had a very spacious and comfortable room which had plenty of storage for our clothes. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, always greeted us when we walked past Reception and were courteous and professional in their attitude. We had great food: one sushi supper, one dinner in the à la carte restaurant and one breakfast. On each occasion the food was delicious and service was charming. If you’re a meat eater, try the tournedos - mine was superb! A wide choice of breakfast options including cereal, yoghurt, pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon, cheeses, cold meats… everything was very well presented and tasted fresh. We would definitely stay here again!

One point: the hotel is on a main road but somewhat cut off if you don’t have a car. It’s a 15 minute walk to the station and then the train service is very good to Leiden, Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam - plenty to explore. But non-drivers need to be able to walk to and from the station. The hotel does offer bikes to hire.

Cons:

The decor in our room was a bit tired and in need of a lick of paint in places where lots of suitcases have scuffed the edges. The shower door tends to let quite a lot of water out. Nothing serious for sure, but these are the only reasons I have to criticise the property.
