Cabanas Tulum- Beach Hotel & Spa

breakfast was delicious, the staff is wonderful. All the waiters, bartenders, cleaning ladies, receptionist... They all very professional and warn, always ahead of you.

This hotel is wonderful. The staff were very friendly, offered suggestions on local must sees, always made sure we had whatever we needed, and even waved me and my friend down on the road when we were coming back on our rented scooter. The whole place was clean, the Welcome cocktail was delightful (had about 10 of them over the 5 days), the pool is so cool, and even though there was seaweed during my trip the staff did their best to remove it from the beach early in the morning. You’ll have a great time if you choose to spend your time here.

Wonderful stay! The service was outstanding, the on-site spa & yoga was excellent, and the staff worked incredibly hard to keep the sargassum under control. The beach had comfortable loungers with plenty of shade, and the pool area was beautiful and relaxing. A great place to unwind. 🌴☀️

This was our second year coming to Cabanas as a girlfriends trip. We loved it the first time and this year it was the BEST as well. Everything was absolutely perfect in every way. Gorgeous beachfront room, healthy & delicious food in their three restaurants. We loved having our smoothies prior to morning yoga classes in the gorgeous yoga palapa. But what sets it apart and makes it even more special are the wonderful staff. Each and every person on their team that you encounter is genuinely warm and friendly and super helpful in every way. Cabanas Tulum is a very, very special place.

This place is truly everything you need to just detox from the world. As soon as you enter you are greeted with a kindness from everyone that feels like magic. The food options are fantastic (Frescos/ziggys/authentico), the drinks are refreshing yet mighty and the beach setting, chairs and towels, are heavenly. This is our second trip here and we had the pleasure of meeting Aldo, our host and personal cheat sheet of where to visit- he was fantastic. Highly recommend this place, this energy and this calm environment for a recharge.

Cabanas Tulum was great. The service from the moment we arrived until we left.was.excellent. Everyone was happy to help at all times and handled any issue
They got my zipper on my shorts fixed very quickly and at minor expense.
The food at Ziggies was excellent and our servers were quick and helpful. We enjoyed the live music as well.
The room was kept clean, which was tough with all the sand.
We enjoyed the hydrotherapy.

My husband and I have found many destination spots in Mexico, but I will say that Tulum is now at the top of our list of favorite places to vacation!
Cabanas Tulum did not disappoint! We have fallen in love with this beautiful quaint slice of heaven, the amazing and attentive staff, and the location.
The rooms were amazing, clean, and were the ultimate place for a more personal and intimate experience.
There isn’t one thing I would change about this boutique hotel or our experience. We will be back again, only for a longer stay!

Ziggy's restaurant, beach beds, location

Excellent service, clean and well cared for hotel. Beautiful spa!

Stayed here for 3 days in Feb. Good location a room had a great view of the beach and a lovely patio. Breakfast was delicious and fresh! Ziggys beach club was also wonderful. I enjoyed daily yoga and massages at the spa. Only con was that I booked the room with the rooftop terrace and “hot tub”. Please note that this is a large bath tub that is not filled daily. You must fill it yourself like you would a regular bathtub. It’s not a jacuzzi hot tub that is ready for you to enjoy daily. In addition the hammock on the balcony was sandy and quite dirty. Room not worth the price due to this.
