Great location. Public transport nearby and walking distance to a lot of eateries/bars. Staff were very friendly and informative. Free undercover parking.
The room wasn't clean, quite dusty, and dead bugs on bedsides. Dirt and grime on many surfaces of the room. Very hard, uncomfortable bed with very flat pillows. Was on the 1st floor, and there was a little sitting hall just outside the room with a vending machine. Lots of noise coming from this area all hours of the night and kids using the vending machine just after 12am.
Room was clean and handy to have a kitchen, good location close to shops, restaurants and theatre. Enjoyed the included breakfast.
Bed was too soft and a bit uncomfortable.

Found staines on the mattresses
The rooms have recently been refurbished and were very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast had plenty of variety in cereals and breads. Overall, excellent value for money.
Some aspects of the building are dated but it seems renovations are happening. We had something broken in our room but the reception staff sorted it out.

Traffic noise from Northbourne Ave was intrusive at times, in the absence of doubleglazing on the window.
Next time, I'd take my earphone headband to help me sleep.
