I had an apartment like space, though o ly needed a room
The breakfast could have been better

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was phenomenal.
Hot tub closed. Elevator closed. Inside of microwave filthy. Flores in room were dirty. Bedding felt wet with how humid the room was. We live 90 min away….so we are used to humidity.
The staff were very accommodating and genuine.
The first night we checked in pretty late. We booked a King room and it came with a full kitchen. Once I unpacked and went to shower I saw a few flies hanging out in the shower, no big deal until I stepped into the shower. There had to be about 10 drain flies ( I originally thought they were fruit flies because of the kitchen until I googled it). I asked for something to kill them with at the front desk and they gave me another room no hassle. We did however end up getting a queen bed instead of King, again not to much of a problem.
After switching rooms we went to shower and the water barely turned warm. I'm not exaggerating, we thought maybe because it was so late in the night. No the very next day the water stayed the same. I like to take warm showers, I was freezing the entire time which is what lead me to write the review. Other than that the elevator was broken, the hot tub was broken, and the indoor pool felt about 40 degrees. I was very upset with this stay. Will not be returning. I would rate this a 4 but the staff were extremely accommodating.

“I was celebrating my wife’s birthday, and Best Western Plus Palo Alto Inn and Suites made our stay smooth and completely stress‑free. I originally planned to stay just one day, but the experience was so good that I stayed a second night. For the first time ever, the pictures online actually matched the room and the hotel — I was pleasantly surprised in the best way. Breakfast was good, and while it would be even better with more options like bacon or boiled eggs, everything tasted fresh, and the fruits — especially the apples and oranges — were great. Kudos to the entire staff, including housekeeping and the kitchen; I honestly wanted to find something to complain about, but I can’t. Please don’t raise the prices… you’re doing everything right.”
“What didn’t I like? Well… no free balloons or free candy — just kidding. Honestly, the service wasn’t what I expected at first because I had just flown back from Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida, and that’s a big difference. But your hotel really surprised me. From the moment I walked in, the air felt clean and fresh, and the staff was friendly. This place is definitely a must‑visit the next time I come to San Antonio. Keep everything just the way it is.”
The location made it easy to access the interstate. The breakfast was good.
There was a huge sewer roach in the room. The bed was hard and super high from the floor. The shower was leaking all night. The toilet was running all night. The room was also not that clean.
