Room nice and clean and normally when we stayed before no noise must have been where the room was

Pros:

It was nice and comfortable. A little bit disappointed with the food to be honest. We expected a menu at dinner and not a buffet style.
The staff were all lovely and friendly, particularly the reception and bar staff.
We brought our dog and he was made to feel very welcome, which was lovely.

Nice place, just a little let down with the buffet dinner.

I wouldn't go back!
Cons:

The rooms need updating, the staff at breakfast was so rude telling us to hurry up and just wanted you to leave by constantly reprimanding you for being nearly late, smashing things trolley full of cups and literally giving you really bad staring looks whilst eating breakfast, then putting the cleaning things on your table while hovering around you. We took the hint, left my breakfast I was eating and left!

Nice hotel for an overnight stay.
Pros:

A lovely country house hotel in an idilic location.
The room was a good size and clean. Great shower.
The bar was nice and had a great buzz about it.
The self service breakfast was lovely all the cooked items being fresh out on the servery.

We only paid £55 so no loss and we left early 5am for our flight , it done us for the airport but deffo wouldn’t want t

The original building is absolutely stunning

Cons:

The bed was so uncomfortable and the food in the restaurant was not very appealing at all , no information given at reception regarding the restaurant or how you had to buy a food voucher and that’s if you wanted to eat . We only found that out by trying
H to find the restaurant ourself .food choice was awful so we ended up having to drive and eat out
