Staff was great nice location

Cons:

Paid for 2days breakfast for us both alarm never went off so missed morning was going to try dinner asked staff for honest opinion said not that good plus boothy type but on Sunday morning went for breakfast both us couldn't eat it was rank one worse things had chef bad as tuned mushrooms soggy bacon tasted like off links tasted horrible is if off food was bit cold only thing eaten was slice off toast my partner made so we left hotel about 8am came home made nice breakfast even others said horrible online from loch lomond travel needs good chef and nice food

Staff were very friendly and it was an affordable base for our trip.

The grounds were lovely

Cons:

It needs some updating. The water pooling at the steps to reception made it difficult to bring suitcases etc into the hotel. Also the juice machine wasn’t working when we went for breakfast

Rude staff and needs update
Pros:

It was ok for one night

Cons:

The staff are rude the place needs a total revamp. We booked valentines night a double room to be laughed at when we turned up saying no chance ya getting a double bed ! The bloke behind the desk didn’t give a toss he was saying no chance ya getting a double room we don’t allocate rooms like that ! I showed him my conformation (double room) he blames booking.com the full hotel needs a total update

Impressed with decoration let down by lack of facilities

Location to town and beach, also a good price point. Nicely decorated

Cons:

The bar was closed as it wasn’t busy. The restaurant was also closed so no food/breakfast was available. These would have been okay if it had been advertised, however the booking said breakfast available pay at property.
