Location
Radiator was on at max temp and couldn't be turned off or down. Bed was pushed up against same radiator (and no room to move it away) which was a safety risk as I woke up a few times with my foot against a burning hot radiator.
No cooked breakfast as there was a fault with boiler/gas. So worked out pretty expensive for an overnight with a coffee and croissant for breakfast.
The rooms where emaculate
Will defo be back
The stay is located in a really calm and quiet place.
I paid £70 and all I received in my breakfast included package was a bread and non working coffee machine. Got an apple though 🍎
the staff was amazing warm and welcoming always ready to help i would go back just to have a chat with allister and jenny :D
the comfort of the bed and matras was not very good to rest and enjoy a good night sleep
Room ok. Good hot water
No bar. No breakfast
Didn’t receive an email back about our early check in that we paid for, and the receptionist knew nothing about it when we arrived. Website stated room had a bath and a shower…it had a shower only. There’s a restaurant onsite…but doesn’t state that it’s only open 7-9am for breakfast and 6-8pm for dinner!! Drove a couple of hrs to get there for a gig and looked forward to a couple of drinks in the Bar beforehand but found out after arriving the Bar did not open until 4pm…again nothing on the website or booking confirmation of this.
Monday morning woken about 4.30/4.45am to what sounded like a fire door banging and people clattering up and down metal stairs going back and forward to the Garden room…ok some people have to get going early but have respect for the other guests especially at that time!
Was in a situation with a family emergency and all the staff went above and beyond
I definitely want to return under better circumstances
Nothing
Room and bed was fine.
Breakfast was poor, cold and poor quality cooked breakfast the first day so I had cereal the other mornings
Excellent value for money, Robert at front of desk is excellent
Great area
Old and a little tired
It was a great place to stay whilst on a motorbike trip around western Scotland. Warm and comfortable rooms, hot showers and buffet dinner. Good value for money.
Buffet dinner could have been a little more appetising
Quiet, secluded and lovely grounds. Whilst being out of town, still convenient to areas of interest
Were not serving breakfast, as not enough customers. However, plenty of places nearby, so not a major issue
Food was not available restaurant was closed as was the bar, during our stay
That the restaurant & bar were closed during our stay.
