It was very reasonably priced and an excellent location for my needs. Good en-suite bathroom with decent shower water pressure.
The hotel is very dated (obviously the reason for the low price) but the owners appear to be in the process of modernising the building but there is some distance to go. The cooked breakfast is operated on a buffet system which often results in lukewarm food.
Lovely settings
Stayed here on a number of occasions as good location to visit family but the last couple of times I've woke up in so much pain cos the beds are really uncomfortable
The hotel is very honest and as the price indicates it isn’t a 5 star hotel.
The hotel was clean and any issue I may have found the staff more than make up for.
Set menu for evening meal was great value for money and I have a great pint a very good prices
I book for work and would 100% book again
Wi-Fi wasn’t great
Few small issues like bathroom door not closing and shower door was the same
But who cares!!!
Great location for the beach at Troon . Room had fridge which was ideal and the staff were helpful & friendly .
No complaints during my stay
Everything a part from the bed
The bed to firm
Generally staff were friendly and helpful but one lad in the Garden room (thin Tat man … you know who you are!) was impatient, rude and inconsiderate. No need and requires a lesson in how to address paying customers who pay his wages.
I found it easy to understand why the signage reminding guests that abusive behaviour would not be tolerated have to be posted when staff members like him are serving on.
He was lucky the guests are more considerate and tolerant ones !!!
Tip reflected the service 😆
Nice comfortable stay, staff went out their way to help me
Food wasn't the best and no small portion option, I eat less than a child but had to pay full price
Die Lage
Nice comfortable room , recently refurbished.
Bedroom window wouldn’t open
Booked online through booking.com get to property they take my money but apparently fully booked. I ask for refund as can’t cancel online like they ask and just made difficult.
Quiet, nice environment, friendly staff, pool table
No food available on site
