Pros:

Location

Cons:

Radiator was on at max temp and couldn't be turned off or down. Bed was pushed up against same radiator (and no room to move it away) which was a safety risk as I woke up a few times with my foot against a burning hot radiator.
No cooked breakfast as there was a fault with boiler/gas. So worked out pretty expensive for an overnight with a coffee and croissant for breakfast.

Cons:

Didn’t receive an email back about our early check in that we paid for, and the receptionist knew nothing about it when we arrived. Website stated room had a bath and a shower…it had a shower only. There’s a restaurant onsite…but doesn’t state that it’s only open 7-9am for breakfast and 6-8pm for dinner!! Drove a couple of hrs to get there for a gig and looked forward to a couple of drinks in the Bar beforehand but found out after arriving the Bar did not open until 4pm…again nothing on the website or booking confirmation of this.
Monday morning woken about 4.30/4.45am to what sounded like a fire door banging and people clattering up and down metal stairs going back and forward to the Garden room…ok some people have to get going early but have respect for the other guests especially at that time!

Pros:

Quiet, secluded and lovely grounds. Whilst being out of town, still convenient to areas of interest

Cons:

Were not serving breakfast, as not enough customers. However, plenty of places nearby, so not a major issue
