Comfortable, clean . Lovely room with a large tv. Meals only served on one occasion. Was very nice a reasonable choice of food and drinks Tea coffee, soft drinks all free with the meal.
Kitchen was closed most days No breakfast or evening meals. Only appeared to be open on Friday and Saturday.
The place was lovely scenery amazing sat outside
We were supposed to check in at 15:00 room wasn’t ready until 16:30 so we said that’s okay we will go to the bar “ the bars not open’ so sat in reception for 90 minutes waiting for our room
Check out is 11pm so how they didn’t have the room ready by 15:00 baffles me
The staff were great - warm, friendly and helpful.
The property has a grandeur to it but that’s only to be found within the external aesthetic of the property. Internally; it’s old and fatigued.
The courtyard is in need of care.
No dinner. No bar. No breakfast. (Well, there was continental breakfast available but there was only 1 slice of bread available for a party of 4).
Therefore we were limited to our very basic rooms with a chain delivery service for dinner, in bed.
This property has so much potential if the business had a heart to care about it.
The room was lovely very clean great value for money everyone friendly.l

The smell of Marijuana from staff smoking on the bench when heading back to my car in the morning
It was cheap and very comfy and staff very friendly.

Good location, excellent value for money. USB plugs by the bed side are very useful. Clean modern bathroom. A great bonus was a small fridge in the room. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Very friendly lady at the reception.
It was not a five star hotel (although it looks like from outside), but it was excellent value for money. There was nothing that we didn’t like. However, the online checking-in should be sorted out, because it is inconvenient and one still has to check-in at the reception desk.
