The age and appropriate decor for the buildings character
Nothing
Great location, lovely bar.
Breakfast on first day was a bit of a fail. Had to go back to staff and ask for butter for toast that was barely toasted, no offer of sauces with the full English, no taking away of used plates and expected to make space ourselves, this was the same young member of staff for all issues. Seemed more interested in chatting with other staff. The wife’s scrambled eggs did not look very appealing. This was a shame.
The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a lovely cosy hotel/bar. Lots of people came to drink inthe bar area with its comfy armchairs. The food was excellent. We ate both breakfast and dinner. Lovely homemade porridge in tbe morning with nuts and chia seeds. My partner had a full English. Both delicious.
Decor is tasteful....the hotel looks like it's has a re ent refurb.
Nothing.
Location excellent, great breakfast, very good restaurant, bar has good selection of beverages. Building has great character.
Bathroom on small size, tight fit through shower door (would be difficult to access for a larger person)
Great staff, great room, great breakfast and quality beers.
All good.

Great location , friendly atmosphere .
Great location
Shower pressure on the top floor
Been here for multiple times already; parking space directly behind is tighy and limited; but a but further on 1 minute walk also behind the Hotel there is plenty of parking space on public parking; cheap parking. Food choice in restaurant/pub is limited but good value for money. Breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and comfortable; typically English Pub/hotel. In village center on walking distance plenty of shops and small restaurants. Friendly Staff / Good WiFi / nice Pub.
