All rooms are on either first or second floor, and there is no elevator. The hotel is not suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

Steep stairs to rooms
After many visits standards are consistent
1st time not able to park due to being full.fortunetly adjacent pay and display, being a Sunday was free.no issues
Great location in town centre. Quirky old building with charm.
We had a bedroom at the front of the Inn and could hear traffic from quite early in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly.
Good choice of beers and a well presented and tasty breakfast.

Excellent breakfast! I have a good appetite and after eating my breakfast I needed a crane to lift me out of my chair haha ! The staff are hardworking and nothing is too much trouble for them and they enjoy a joke ie plenty of water during the very hot weather! The breakfast room is all laid out nice with plenty of room with large tables.
The fun part is the spiral staircase haha . Perfectly manageable and you’ll reach your bedroom that’s the main thing. In fact there are a choice of 2 staircases great for hiding seek haha ! All good fun !
Fantastic historic pub and inn. Very cosy, great beer and exceptional food. Right in the heart of Ross.

A lovely old hotel very well kept. Staff were great. Very nice breakfast and the lady that served it was very nice. Car parking was really good. Room was big, bed comfy, shower was nice with good pressure. Tea and coffee in our room.
Nothing to not like
Historic hotel with atmospheric bars serving a variety of ales. Meandering staircases through several floors. In the town centre with a car park to the rear of the hotel. Good breakfast.
No food available in the evening - it was a Sunday - but several nearby eating places.

The rooms were well equipped. Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to access the town with all its independent shops. A lively atmosphere in the evening with visitors and locals.

Staff were helpful and the breakfast was good.
No fault of the premises, but the building is very old and access via the stairs would challenge anyone unsteady on their feet. Access to the hotel car park is very tight and you need to approach it exactly square on.
