Het hotel is heel centraal gelegen en het gebouw is erg mooi. Uniek hotel.
Ontbijt was wat eenvoudig voor een vier sterren hotel.

Het gebouw zelf, ontbijt aan het altaarstuk
We sliepen dicht aan receptie en we hoorden wel wat lawaai zowel in de avond als vroeg in de ochtend
De ligging, op loopafstand van het centrum van Mechelen. De entourage van een kerk is heel speciaal.
Het hotel maakt reclame met privé-parkeren, maar dit stelt niets voor: parkeren in een parkeergarage voor €30 per dag is zeer beperkt beschikbaar. Uiteindelijk parkeer je onbewaakt op straat zo'n 500 meter van het hotel met een maximale parkeertijd van 4 uur. Dit is na 10 minuten steeds opnieuw in te stellen via de parkeerapp, maar de parkeerkosten per dag zijn ongeveer €45. Het personeel is nauwelijks op de hoogte van de parkeeropties en toont zich onwetend. Zelf uitzoeken dus.
They've made such a good job on the conversion of the church and it's in a really handy location, just a few streets from the main central area. A good choice at breakfast and you can even indulge in a complimentary glass of Cava if you wish.
Whilst it was really nice and a beautiful hotel, I just expected 'more' for the price. I can't quite put my finger on it but compared to other places that we stayed on our trip I felt that I got the least value for money from this stay.
