Excellent
Pros:

It’s a very nice hotel and the staff were excellent.
The Bar & Grill were excellent as I ate there and had a few drinks.

Nice refurbished room but limited clothing space if staying more than a couple of days

It let down the VILLAGE Hotel name and we won’t be back at that hotel
Pros:

DO NOT GO TO VILLAGE HOTEL FARNBOROUGH Basingstoke village hotel is 24 min drive away, go there where the staff are helpful and don’t kick you out of your room after THEIR mistake to a room with broken aircon

Cons:

Staff booked us into the wrong room and we only found out later after about 5 hours . Where we were told we had to vacate and get moved to another room
Where the Aircon was broken They offered us free breakfast and when we went to get it, it wasn’t free as the member of staff didn’t apply it

Cons:

The constant noise from Midnight for hours of someone outside moving or banging items causing me to wake up multiple times, one rooms Aircon didn't work and was unable to cast to the TV due to TV not being connected to the internet, could not connect the TV to the internet as the setting is force locked, 1 room which was also a club room that TV didn't even give you the option to cast unless you were assigned the apparent one room in the whole hotel according to staff which had a 65” TV and a King size bed but every other “Club” room had a double and smaller TV

Great value for money. Helpful and pleasant staff especially Dan.
Pros:

Very clean and comfortable. Convenient for our departure from Farnborough airport. Dan who helped us with check in was very helpful, pleasant and attentive.

It did what it said on the tin with a higher than average quality.
Pros:

It was exactly what was needed by us, a place to get changed, sleep and have breakfast. Self check in was new however a member of staff was there to assist if required. The room was clean and had what was needed. The breakfast was typical buffet and good quality.
All staff greeted you with a smile, were polite and helpful.
There were other facilities but can’t comment on as did not use.

Cons:

Minor thing however car park routing was confusing and we weren’t the only ones who went the wrong way. Needs a few more spaces, we found the last one at 3:00 pm in the afternoon.

What I paid for the room was not value for money.
Pros:

Not much.

Cons:

The room was small, There was no Safe to place valuables in and no fridge. Also no dressing gowan's or flannels. The standard of the breakfast was poor. The bacon looked under cooked, the scrambled egg looked congealed, it was dreadful and did not look appealing at all. Also I was not happy to find out on the day that there was no longer any free parking for guests. Finally the lift doors on the inside had key scratches, it looked awful.
