Aircon broken in room - stay was at the start of the June heatwave. No other kings available to move me to, I said I would happily move to a double and be refunded the difference. They refused as they didn’t want to refund anything. Offered me a club room with extra perks like gym, but I was only there one night and wouldn’t need that. They brought me a stand up fan rather than move me.
Food expensive for the quality. I ordered the katsu chicken curry. I asked after my food after 30 minutes of waiting, my friend had almost finished hers. They gave me a cold bowl of food and said that someone had been around with it for ages and I hadn’t claimed it. I recognised the bowl as one a young lad brought round asking if I’d ordered ‘buffalo wings’, which I hadn’t. The food was thrust at me, it was cold. I took it back and got a lot of attitude from chef/kitchen manager, and an offer of ‘well I’ll make you another one but you’ll have to wait for it’. Not a very pleasant experience.
Loved every minute we even extended our stay and booked an extra night
No Netflix on tele most hotels have it
Lovely hotel & great atmosphere with super friendly staff especially the lady at reception
First time staying at this hotel today. Upon checking in this today I was impressed with the courtesy and services that Tyler provided! I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others visiting this area. Tyler is an example of how to treat hotel guests!! Great job
The staff was good especially Blue
The noise from the ac?? and parking paying
Great facilities
Rooms were a bit small
Great hotel, great staff especially Tyler who is on the reception helped as much as he can
Arrived later on in the evening and had fantastic welcome from Anil and Tyler. I believe they were just changing shifts but fantastic people and had a good laugh while checking in. The room was comfortable, clean and an easy sleep and breakfast wasn’t too bad either, can’t complain. Thankyou
The lady on reception called Blue was lovely, so welcoming.
I preferred the rooms before the refurbishment! A comfy chair is desperately needed by the window. The windows were very dirty on the outside.
£10.50 for a glass of wine seemed rather expensive.
Comfy beds
Sound Spin class music blasting out and waking me up at 8am on a Sunday morning
Stayed in a club room. Room came with an upgraded coffee machine and some other things, but they weren’t that special nor noticeable. The sweet treat they market in the upgrade turned out to be a single club chocolate bar that you could buy in multipack in any supermarket! The room itself was pleasant enough, recently renovated. The rooms overlook the carpark though and can be seen directly into! This is the case during the day, but especially at night. So, if you wanted privacy you had to close the blind entirely, as there’s no foil/net curtains. Good gym and pool facilities, although to access you have to walk through the main reception/restaurant/Starbucks. We ate in the restaurant. This was a little disappointing. Tables dirty and sticky. Starters and mains bought out as one. Several items on the menu unavailable.
