Village Hotel Farnborough

We stayed here for 1 night on 15th August
The hotel is a little bit tucked away off the road so dont be too reliable on Google maps
At first glance the hotel is very modern and parking is easy, but dont forget to pay on way out as it is disappointingly an extra £5 a night cost.
On our arrival the receptionist seemed a bit stressed and not very knowledgeable as her system was playing up, but informed us of the extras we unknowingly had to pay, parking etc
Our room was clean and very modern
Sadly it had a bad odour when we walked in, like the drains etc
Could be something to do with current building work going on.
The bar/restaurant area is very good and the food we had was very good. The staff were also very polite and helpful. We also had a good breakfast but staff need to replace missing items a bit quicker if they run out on buffet.
All ok as well till morning when I noticed shower very low down, so on our way out mentioned to receptionist, who informed me that we had been given a room for a disabled person because they were very busy.
Nice to be told this when we checked in? NOT!
I queried this with receptionist in morning who was a different older person, who was not a bit interested and offered complimentary coffee and cake....no thanks not after breakfast.
Just said basically leave in review if youre not happy.
We enjoyed some of our stay but room was disappointing and would appreciate to be told if any changes made.

An excellent experience at The Village Hotel Farnborough. First class and spacious gym with an excellent range of fitness equipment. The spa is excellent with Jacuzzi, Steam, Sauna, swimming pool and ice bath. The number choice hotel in Farnborough

So close to the British motor show. Great location and the customer service was exceptional. The phone call a few days before our visit was unexpected but very appreciated as it allowed me to reserve diner in the restaurant and book a room with a shower only due to my parents mobility. Exceptional customer service throughout the stay also

Would highly recommend, good value for money. We had a deal including breakfast & evening meal, no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel it self was good and comfortable.

We came here for the night after visiting the motor show and we wish we had found this hotel sooner! The room was very spacious, light and airy, great bathroom and shower space. VERY COMFORTABLE Beds. Staff were helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, we stayed in the bar and had a meal 2x adult and 2x teens and we all enjoyed it. Breakfast was help yourself and it was delicious and worth the money. Having a Starbucks on site was great!! Good to grab a coffee before leaving!

Location works well if you’re in Farnborough on business, easy to find & access. Car park was heaving, unfortunately they’d given some of it to the builders, must have forgotten who’s paying! £10 a night to park 🤔. Great they had human beings rather than screens for check-in. Room was good - modern, clean, comfortable. Didn’t use the WiFi. Breakfast poor, limited range of foods & quality average at best. I didn’t like the coffee but may have been fine for others. I’d go back but skip the breakfast.
