A very enjoyable stay.
Pros:

I thought the facilities and staff were excellent. The lady who met me upon checking was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and was a credit for everything that followed. The gym staff on the entrance were equally helpful. Thank you.

Pros:

Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The manager at the front desk, Blue, was exceptional, and looked after us. The blackout blind was great. The rain shower was excellent as were the shampoo, conditioner and body wash which were provided. TV was a great size. Air conditioning was spot-on. It was a bonus that there was a pub on the ground floor. The host was welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a good night’s sleep.

Cons:

The room could have used one additional chair as two people were staying. The hotel room doors bang loudly by surrounding guests, but it was at a reasonable hour, so didn’t affect us much. Parking was a bit of a problem, I think due to the high usage of the gym and pool, but we did manage to find a parking space, so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Really decent, will always stay at village hotels
Pros:

The gym is great, and is the main reason I stay at the village hotels.

Cons:

The breakfast was a bit sparse, empty scrambled egg. I wasn’t a fan of the breakfast being later on Saturday - I didn’t check but if there is a mechanism to get an early breakfast (that I’d already paid for in the price) that would be great.

Pros:

The staff on reception - Kris and Bel (I think that was her name), were fantastic, so welcoming, really helpful and looked after me very well, they were a credit to the hotel.

Comfy, clean, will stay again.
Pros:

Lovely size rooms. Great shower. Super comfy bed. Nice touches with the coffee machine and a GOOD hairdryer.
Staff helpful. Wendy in particular was amazing.

Cons:

Food prices. £8 for onion rings?
