Cons:

Property definitely needs updating and needs to be more clean. Good for 1 night stay if your going on cruise but not for a long visit vacation type style.

Right next to the beach and various restaurants in condado. It’s a decent place for what you pay right in the heart of all the hustle and bustle! Don’t listen to others complain about it not being fancy etc, the price explains that. It was clean, staff was okay, a little nerving when checking in and wouldn’t hold my luggage. (Not a huge problem) fyi it’s a local party scene at the beach here, if you prefer quiet area, beach etc, this is not the spot in San Juan. Overall decent place and area for the price!

Cons:

No parking which is listed on booking.com and needs to be removed but seems no one has taken action in doing so. Was the main reason I booked along with the price.

Pros:

The beds were firn, clean, generally good. Staff was very friendly and informative. Breakfast at restaurant was very good and servers very responsive. Location for proximity to beach was super. Appreciated the foot shower at entrance.

Cons:

The decor and general hotel finishes are tired and need some pick me up. A regresh is long due and will go a long way to increase ratings. The exterior signage is lacking as local taxi did not know where hotel was at night. Security on balcony was not helpful for directions.

Pros:

This hotel needs to be imploded and rebuilt. The pictures are just a facade. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. The only good thing was Ms. Dianne the desk clerk was professional and hospitable. The air condition system worked perfectly. This property is just for an overnight stay. I had an issue with the toilet in which it did not flush because there was no chain attached. I reported it to the front desk clerk and it was still the same way when I returned from an outing. The bathroom is for a very short person. If you have a rental there is no parking, however you can park across the street at the Marriott hotel parking lot for $26 a day.

Great Location. 30 second walk to the beach, 1 minute walk to main strip for Restaurants and Shopping. Hotel staff are very friendly!! Stayed at the Hilton few nights prior and the staff dont compare. Sandy Beach WINS hands down on friendliness!!!! From front desk, housekeeping, & maintenance. Shower Water pressure & temperature was amazing! A/C worked perfectly

Cons:

Run down, beds are little uncomfortable, no mini fridge in room, pictures of rooms & outdoors are outdated however for the price & staff we would stay again

Rooms outdated and shower barely worked and water was luke warm at best.. they said they had no face towels and they were reluctant tant to give us more towels. I had to go buy face towels and I asked them to clean my room and they didn't even change my sheet still same stain on them they had no ice
