Unprofessional and disappointing
Cons:

Very unprofessional experience. I arrived late in the evening after taking a cab, only to be told the hotel was oversold and I had to stay at another property 20 minutes away. Meanwhile, other guests were checking in without issues.

Why wasn’t I informed in advance? I wasted time and money on a cab, and I had specifically chosen this hotel because it was just one block from the trade show I was attending. Extremely disappointing service and a complete lack of consideration for guests.

Beautiful hotel in a great location
Pros:

Excellent location. Friendly and very helpful staff in the lobby area. Elevators were available when we needed them. Very elegant and stately hotel room.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have two reading lamps, one for each bed.

The HVAC system may need to be checked. The unit in room 309 made clunky noises when it came on and went off.

Pros:

Excellent location. Easy access to McGill, St. Catherine's, and the metro. Quiet and clean. Loved that the room itself had finished floors vs. carpet. Nothing out of the ordinary for cutomer offering.

Cons:

Parking was a little bit confusing. There are self park options in addition to valet.

Cons:

I have stayed at all William Gray hotels in Montreal and this was the experience I've had to deal with in terms of staff attitude. Never in my life have I ever been told "go away" after waiting to get my bags from storage. I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel until management implements staff changes. I will not be looking to stay here again. The beds are also very uncomfortable.
