My family was in Shreveport for my nephew's surgery at Willis Knighton. We ended up booking rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott in Shreveport due to its proximity to the hospital. Although it is an older hotel, it has recently gone through renovations and updates. They were very well done! My room was updated, clean, smelled fresh. All of the things I look for. The bed was VERY comfortable and provided a great night's sleep after a very stressful day. Additionally, the staff was welcoming and very friendly. I would definitely stay there again!
Not enough working outlets or charging ports
The entire front desk, bar and kitchen staff(Angie), were all kind and very informative. They young lady whom checked us in was very friendly each time we saw her.
We stayed in the king suite, it is a large room. The living room area furniture was not clean and the bathroom floor and baseboards were not the best.
Sorta bittersweet. Love the new indoor pickleball courts Bitter, there's really nothing left on the boardwalk. No eateries and no shopping.

The advertised boardwalk was closed, businesses had left. This is not advertised. Front desk said it would be cheaper to go through them, we paid for booking.com instead of hotel itself. The amenities were not amenities. No free coffee, except for a coupke of pkgs in the room, breakfast was not included, boardwalk closed. Very misleading

Comfortable, good value for money!
Everything around it is closed down but Salt Grass Steakhouse, a movie theatre, and Bass Pro. However, the hotel and be blamed for that!
We were in Shreveport for the NGA State Gymnastics meet. The first night we were there we heard scratching inside the walls-like mice kept us up all night. When we left for the first day of the meet, I asked the front desk to move us to a new room. When we returned that night we were given a new room. This room had adjourning doors and when we walked in the smell of marijuana almost knocked us down. There was also loud music coming from the next room. I went to the front desk and told them what was going on. The lady called the room and they said they would quiet down. Within 30 minutes, the music started back up and the marijuana smell was still strong. This was all happening around 10 pm. We packed up and went to stay with another gymnastics family who had rented a house rather than a hotel. I let the lady at the desk know that I was not happy that my kids were trying to get rest to be able to compete and we had to pack up and leave. I told her I wanted. Refund for both nights. She explained that I had to call when the manager was there. I have made 4 calls asking to speak to the manager and was told she was not available but she would call me. I never received a call. Stay elsewhere!
Away from the local casinos, away from the congestion of traffic and foot traffic of the casino visitors.
Great location, but the 1 issue was parking. Not enough parking available that at times i had to park a couple of blocks away inside a parking garage.
