An old world home feeling. Tastefully decorated, courteous staff which escorted you through the common areas and room which made one feel welcomed. Highly recommend thus stay.

Seems like a little family run hotel from what I could tell. The original building is a beautiful old building about 3-4 stories. In the back they have more modern apartments style rooms (where we stayed). The breakfast option is a must. They serve by individual orders so it does take some time but it’s pretty close to what your mother would serve you and very tasty.

The property was very, very beautiful and the staff incredibly kind. The breakfast was a little strange as we weren’t able to get anything on our own, but we had to be served, which is fine because that’s how they prefer to do it. No criticism there, but it was just a little strange. The staff, as I said was wonderful, but the town itself was incredibly bizarre. It was reviewed as a beautiful little Port Cities that was one of a kind – – incredible and absolutely stunning on every level and it looked like World War II. I just ended, and the last of the bombings were over. The buildings themselves look terrifying to even enter and the port was filthy. It was teaming with tourist – – not sure why – – we could barely get our car down to the dock. Everything about it was just awful including the entrance to the town and the town itself. We went across the street to have dinner at a place that was recommended to us because it was close and the woman who served us was so astoundingly, miserable and angry. She was mad at her job and hated us for being there. It was just a terrible experience all the way around except for the property itself, which is quite pretty. I just wish it was in another town!

Love the place, nice staff, excellent Brunch, close to Cudillero.

A great house that has been renovated sympathetically to so it has kept its original charm. It has a beautiful garden, the staff are helpful and breakfast was great. It's not practical to walk into Cudillero from the hotel, but it is just a few minutes drive to the convenient car for Cudillero.

Great location in the countryside, beautiful historic mansion, very helpful staff. This is probably more the kind of hotel where you would stay for a couple of nights, rather than just an overnight stay, but it's great.
The only minor downside is that, as the building is quite old, sound proofing isn't perfect - but the clientele tends to be well behaved, so it's not a big issue.
Overall very nice hotel.

Comment ne pas tarir d’éloges pour ce lieu tout simplement exceptionnel. Découvert lors de nos recherches, mais à l’écart de notre itinéraire originel, nous nous étions dit que cet endroit valait très certainement le détour. Et cela fut bien plus que cela : un authentique coup de cœur. Dès notre arrivée, l'accueil fut si chaleureux, si bienveillant que j’en suis encore touché. Et l’enchantement de découvrir des espaces si magnifiquement décorés et entretenus avec un soin extrême ne pourrait que ravir les âmes les plus endurcies. L'ingénieuse utilisation de vitrages intérieurs, remplaçant les cloisons traditionnelles, baigne l'espace d'une lumière douce et crée une atmosphère unique. Des salons cosy à la décoration subtile et aux confortables fauteuils invitent à s'y abandonner. Difficile de ne pas abuser de superlatifs pour cette perle rare ! Notre chambre confortable, calme et lumineuse s'ouvrait sur un jardin harmonieux, véritable invitation à la sérénité. Nous étions hors du temps. Au matin nous attendait un délicieux petit-déjeuner servi à table (un luxe rare), composé de spécialités locales préparées avec maestria par la maîtresse de maison. J'ai savouré le meilleur pain perdu de ma vie ! Une conversation des plus chaleureuses pour accompagner le tout, et un thé servi avant notre départ au coin du feu avec des tuiles… divines. Nous sommes conquis au-delà de ce que je puis en dire et j'invite tous ceux sensibles à l’harmonie de réserver cet hôtel à 6 mn de Cudillero.

The Casona hotel was the first of the so called “Indianos” houses in Cudillero built by Asturian emigrants returning from the Americas. It dates from the late 19th century and was fully restored to its original condition in 1998.
It has the atmosphere of a large comfortable home with 2 sitting rooms and a small bar. Our room had a small sitting room with views over the beautiful surrounding hills. Although there is no restaurant, there was an excellent restaurant 10minutes walk away which is used by the locals. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and attentive and catered for your every need. Breakfast was excellent and served till 11am.
In all very highly recommended.

Importante. Reserve una habitación Doble cln ventanas y sala muy bonita desde la plataforma de expedia y a la hora de hacer ek check in me dieron una que nada era que ver con una ventana suoer chiquita nada que ver a las fotos que ustedes me pusieron. Tuve que oagar 50 Euros extras para poder acceder a la habitación que originalmente habia pagado desde su pagina. No es la primera vez que me sucede esto con su plataforma en donde el hotel me hace una reservacion por una habitación basica. Espero no volver a tener problemas con ustedes porque no creo seguir usándola. Muchas malas experiencias
