El mobiliario está viejo y deteriorado, la dotación de la cocina no incluía una cafetera o tetera para calentar agua , las cortinas de una habitación estaban rasgadas y dañado el mecanismo para abrirla! El baño del cuarto principal no tenía un extractor de olores !

While I wouldn't go there very again for fairness I have to say the rooms were clean and big. Facilities a bit old in general but OK. For some reason we just got one towel so we had to ask for another. The rooms were also quite at night. In the breakfast room the lady serving was also very friendly as well as the receptionist the second day. Plus we could leave our bags after checking out.
We got scammed. We came super tired to the hotel and the receptionist insisted that we pay the price in BOB he insisted on. It seemed pretty high so we offered to pay in euros or dollars by card or via booking.com but they told us it's not possible. So we payed and realised we payed not 100$ for to nights but 150$. in hindsight we should have argued more or left, but we were so exhausted from the uyuni trip. While I can understand a 5% card fee or something like this, the treatment felt deliberate and the already pricey room was not worth it.
Also breakfast wasn't great, mainly dry cakes.
AVOID! Shockingly unprofessional.
We booked three apartments for six people through Booking. The day before arrival, we called the hotel and were casually told they were under renovation and not receiving guests. No one had informed us, and the person on the phone said that was “up to the sales area,” not his responsibility.
Booking customer service confirmed the hotel had never notified them either. A few hours later, the hotel said they had rebooked us in another place – but the reservation was for one person less. After we pointed this out, they booked a second alternative hotel, and once again the reservation was wrong. I had to resolve the issue myself directly with the new hotel.
The entire situation was absurd and showed a cartoonish level of incompetence and customer neglect that is hard to believe.
Unfortunately, we had another reservation with them a few days later. Through Booking, we requested a cost-free cancellation because of everything that had happened; Alcalá Hotel refused, showing a total lack of shame despite the situation they had caused.
When we finally arrived for the later booking, the receptionist tried to deflect the blame by saying they had had a system problem and that the hotel was fully booked when they did not receive us. They cannot keep a consistent story, or they simply have no issue lying to your face.
If we hadn’t called the first time, we could have arrived in a strange city — two people with altitude sickness and nowhere to stay.
Experiencia pésima. Reservamos 3 apartamentos y, el día antes de llegar, nos enteramos por casualidad de que el hotel estaba cerrado por reformas. La persona responsable nos reubicó, pero con múltiples errores en el número de personas y habitaciones, obligándonos a solucionar nosotros mismos todo con el nuevo hotel.
Días después teníamos otra reserva en el Alcalá Apart Hotel y, pese a los graves problemas previos, no nos permitieron cancelarla. Los apartamentos están viejos, desgastados y mal mantenidos. La piscina solo se puede usar avisando con 6 horas de antelación y, para colmo, intentaron cobrarnos una bebida que no consumimos.
No lo recomiendo bajo ningún concepto.

Son unos estafadores, hay un precio en Booking y cuando uno llega le quieren cobrar el doble porque dicen que ellos manejan otro tipo de cambio, te hacen cancelar tu reserva a cambio de cobrarte la tarifa de el hotel, pero sigue siendo más alta que la cotización de Booking

Be careful on the exchange rate between dollar and Bolivianos. Better to pay in dollar if you can.
Breakfast was very basic and not good. All the fruits were rotten.
The apartments were a good size. The location was good.
The place was extremely dated. Upkeep is not good on the facility. Breakfast was terrible. The worst I've ever had in a hotel. All food seemed stale.

The apartment is close to cable car station, it is big enough for 4 people, has cooking equipment.
The elevator is not directly reaching the floor (have to up/down half floor to get to elevator)
The room was nice. The staff very helpful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.
The kitchen is not well stocked. It’s not realistic to think you’ll prepare a meal there. My first morning I was very impressed by the variety at the breakfast buffet. However, they put out unused food until it’s gone. I get that, but things were very dry. Maybe have fewer offerings that are used up faster.

The house is beautiful! Love the style of the furniture. And it is also spacious, with a huge living room and a dining room and a kitchen, equipped with all the necessary stuff.
The heater is a bit weak in the room, so if you will be visiting in winter this should be taken into consideration. You cannot take showers in 2 bathrooms at the same time or the water will be cold.
