Absolutely suitable for a compulsory night en route or before a flight. Efficient and reasonably priced.
Pros:

No nonsense hotel with sufficient, not excellent, breakfast. Good coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and comfortable bed. Good shower and ample parking.

Cons:

A bit of a backwater location. Public transport to Basel takes an hour. Car only 20 minutes.

Cons:

Odeur de moquette dans la chambre peut-être imbibée de fumée de cigarette.
Il faut bannir les moquettes dans les hotels.

On the Booking.com page they promise to provide guests with a transfer from the airport and back. However they only offer transfers from the hotel the airport and not from the airport to the hotel. Besides that the timings for their transfers are very limited, on some days only from 4 am to 7 am.

You think you have a nice deal, but the total price of your stay almost doubles due to taxi rides that cost approximately 25 euros one way. I have been in contact with them about this and after 22 emails (!) back and forward in English they sent me a message in French to approve they reimbursement of one taxi bill.
