Great room with great view and good value for money!
Pros:

Large renovated room with beautiful view in a great location! We were lucky enough to be upgraded so it seemed great value for money compared to other properties we stayed in during our 3 week trip around the South Island.

Cons:

It is an older style building but the room had been renovated nicely.

Wonderful team keep up the good work
Pros:

Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Location just perfect and a bonus being above titi a lovely restaurant.

Cons:

Hotel Owner was reluctant to release front view rooms for some reason despite them being available on booking.com
Making it very awkward for their team to deal with customers properly.

This property is comfortable and right on the ocean in a beautiful setting.
Pros:

The property is right on the boardwalk across the street from the beach. They have underground parking at the hotel for free. You also have free access to the salt water pool just down the street (2min walk) there is a cute cafe there as well. The bed is very comfortable the rooms are spacious and the view across from the ocean is fantastic. The shower has good power. There are several restaurants on the block including a Thai Vietnamese restaurant which was excellent Spirit house and a pizza restaurant The Esplanade which always also good.

Cons:

The showers have good pressure but the design is poor as water goes all over bathroom floor. We got extra towels so we could mop up the floor. If you want to be handy to downtown this is not the property for you.
