Ideal for relaxing getaway.
Pros:

Great location and appreciated the little extras like fresh milk, underfloor heating in the bathroom, bathrobe, and onsite parking. Close to the city and some great restaurants and cafes nearby.

Nice hotel
Pros:

Very quiet, clean and well appointed! The location is brilliant.

Cons:

Bed a bit soft. There's a one inch gap under the shower screen and shower door so water escapes. They don't have payWave and want a physical credit card which is annoying and frankly old fashioned.

Pros:

One of the only spots to stay at St Clair. Have stayed here many times. Staff are always pleasant and rooms and very large and clean. The whole complex is dated and tired and showing its age...bit still recommend staying. You're on the beach in seconds!

Pros:

Location was great. Beautiful view of beach.
The room was clean comfortable and warm.

Cons:

The fridge made an annoying constant clicking noise, so I ended up having to unplug it.

Fantastic location, beach, cafes, bars, restaurants all within crawling distance.
Pros:

Look, you're not going to please everyone with the bed ... my daughter said it was like sleeping on a cloud. So quiet and such a spacious room. My new favourite place to stay. Loved the night life around the corner.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing!

Pros:

We had a lovely view of the Ocean and a great breakfast and dinner at the Cafe on the ground level.

Cons:

No direct access to the Cafe and we needed to exit the hotel and then enter the Cafe! Not sure why the Hotel doesn’t provide direct access with good business collaboration with the Cafe?

Absolutely love it apart from the microwave not turned on and the heater not turned on from the top.

Microwave not turn on from behind got to take the whole microwave out to turn it on, very heavy and dangerous. Heater not turn on in the bathroom

Favourite stay on my NZ trip.
Pros:

Location. Staff. The room itself. Cleanliness. The comfy bed.

Cons:

Everything was great! They really need to fix up that door though, leading from the garage to the elevator. It has a mind of its own.
