Beautiful location and room
Pros:

Great eggs on request for breakfast. Covered outdoor area with a view of the garden.
Spa and courtyard to our lower-level tower room. Small balcony outlook to main street that was impressive and impressed passers by on occasion aswell. You can see the whole Street from the room balcony.
Friendly and helpful staff that speak a number of languages. Clean relaxing pool and outdoor sunbathing area.

Cons:

Our stay should have been longer.

Lovely hotel, excellent location. Bicycles and breakfast included.
Pros:

Charming old world property with modern bedroom and bathroom, fine linens and spacious rooms. Perfect location on lakefront and to many restaurants.

Cons:

Our air conditioner was not working so room was very warm and stuffy. The gentleman at front desk agreed it should not be so, especially as outside temps were cooling but maintenance did not arrive. Hopefully this will be fixed for next guests since it did not happen for us. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Sehr schönes, angenehmes Hotel an toller Lage - sehr empfehlenswert.
Pros:

Eigentlich alles: Gute Lage, sehr schöner Garten mit bequemen Loungemöbeln, sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal, zwar etwas kleines, aber gut eingerichtetes Zimmer, Bad mit ausreichend Ablagemöglichkeiten. Charmantes Ambiente, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet.

Cons:

Garagen- und Parkplätze sind sehr eng, auf Fahrzeuge der 60er-Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts zugeschnitten - aber da lässt sich wohl nichts machen.

Sehr gut, kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Zentrale Lage am See, man kann sehr viel zu Fuss erreichen. Saubere Zimmer und ein Pool im Garten.
Zweckmässige Zimmer und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter,

Cons:

Schade, viele Räumlichkeiten im Hotel werden nicht so richtig genutzt, wirken so ein bisschen verwaist.

Tolle Lage, ehrwürdiges Haus aber viel zu teuer für die Moon & Stars Saison

Das Castello Seeschloss ist ein ehrwürdiges älteres Hotel mit Charm und dem gewissen etwas. Direkt an der Seepromenade am Rande von Ascona liegt es sehr gut.

Cons:

Wir haben wirklich das allerletze Zimmer bekommen, und das war leider eher ein 3 Sterne Zimmer Basiszimmer als ein 4 Sterne Seeschloss Romantik Hotelzimmer. Wir haben für diesen Preis einfach etwas ganz anderes erwartet. Was ich natürlich sehr schade finde, ist, dass die Preise zum Moon &Stars derart in die Höhe getrieben werden, dass das Hotel den Anforderungen gar nicht nachkommen kann. Man fühlt sich etwas über den Tisch gezogen, leider. Also wir probieren nächstes Mal was anderes aus.
