El Pescador

A great little hotel away from crowds but close to the Playa Cristina. Wonderful wood in the house. Staff were different every time but all pleasant and helpful. Easy journey into La Coruna. Nice eating places and even a Michelin starred restaurant close by with super service. An inadvertent find.

Great place handy to the beach and walks and food. Very clean good view of the water. Don’t park n the garage too steep, park on the road outside

Small family ("tourist class") hotel in suburb of A Coruña... just over 20 rooms. Very gracious staff and spacious room. Clean/comfortable--very modest and not by any means luxurious but we were definitely pleased. Breakfast was good too. Decent views from rooms on the back of the property. There was subterranean parking but we avoided it because of the size of our car--fortunately there was plenty of on-street parking.
I am not sure we will need to return to A Coruña but we would definitely stay there again.

Séjour parfait

The hotel is situated on a busy road, entrance/exit by car is not for the faint hearted as it’s a very steep driveway with tight turns into narrow entrances. The room was large but basic and had the biggest ‘double’ bed I’ve ever seen. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that there were roadworks right outside the hotel all through the night, our room was on the roadside, to say it was noisy is an understatement!

The hotel is situated just on the main road with a steep drive down to secure underground parking, which as other have stated has a steep entrance ramp. We were on motorbikes and this was a challenge but with care is ok. There is a lift to some floors from the car park but not all floors. The better rooms are on the top floor and offer views from the balcony. The road side rooms may give some road noise but we did not have them. There was a bar and the receptionist was working the bar as well at the time we were there so service could be slow at the wrong time. They have a terrace area on which you can sit and have your drinks which is nice. We chose to eat out in the town which is a 10 min or so walk down hill which is also the beach area as well. Plenty of choice there for drinking and eating. The Staff were friendly and helpful with limited English but not a problem

Hotel is located on a very busy street. The underground parking is challenging with 90 degree turns and a steep driveway.
Receptionist wasn't particularly friendly, appeared distracted.
No food was available when we arrived, but a continental breakfast was provided in the morning.
The room was clean and comfortable but the wifi was only accessible in the reception area and bar.
It was a short walk down the side roads to the beach and returning we came along the main avenue which had a large selection of restaurants.

Hotel muy agradable con un trato exquisito por parte de su personal,buen desayuno, con garaje y cerca de la playa con un buen paseo,habitaciones limpias y con terraza,tuvimos una estancia muy agradable.

la zona non è centralissima ma con 4 passi si arriva sul mare dove si trovano molti ristoranti e caffè. la camera era pulitissima aria condizionata perfetta. La camera pulitissima e grande con spazi per posare le valigie, cosa che non tutti gli hotel hanno. E' incredibile che questo hotel abbia solo una stella, ma ne meriterebbe almeno tre. Effettivamente la discesa al parcheggio è scomoda ma si può anche parcheggiare in strada vista la quantità di posteggi disponibili e gratuiti.
