Property Description

Oakhill Cromford is a Grade 2 listed Georgian-style hotel built by the Arkwright family in the mid 19th century, restored and refurbished in 2021. Set in extensive landscaped gardens in the historic village of Cromford in the Derwent Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has four suites and further en suite bedrooms, a restaurant and a bar.

Breakfast - Monday to Sunday - 7.30am - 9.00am

Lunch - Monday to Saturday - 12pm - 2pm

Afternoon Tea - Monday to Sunday - 2pm - 4.00pm

Dinner - Monday to Saturday - 6pm - 8pm

Lunch - Sunday - 12pm - 6.30pm
A deposit may be required at the property.

Pros:

Superb property that is traditional and elegant but also relaxed and homely. Located ideally close to many Peak District attractions. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was superb. We hope to return again soon!

Short stay in a great hotel
Pros:

Welcoming friendly and attentive staff. The room was well equipped, clean and spacious as was the bathroom. Excellent food at dinner and breakfast. Great location for walks and walkable from the train station.

Lovely hotel, would stay again.
Pros:

Welcoming and personal, staff really pleasant and helpful. Our room was cosy and well maintained, lovely breakfast, good lunch and dinner menu and reasonable price.

Pros:

The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do more for us. It was a really nice touch

The bed in the oaks was a little firm for our liking but we couldn't ask for a more lovely room

Peaceful setting in a stunning Georgian house, super clean with friendly staff and tasty food.
Pros:

Stunning location surrounded by nature. Squirrels and pheasants in the garden, really peaceful.
Really friendly young lad working there really valuable member of staff. Close to Matlock Bath.

Cons:

Only small negative was not having a slightly later breakfast on Saturday which would have enabled us to do the nearby parkrun and eat on return.

Classy choice of hotel
Pros:

We loved our short overnight stay. Staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Big shout out to Laura who was particularly helpful.
Gorgeous room.. classy, comfortable & clean and a shower I could spend hours in. Gorgeous surroundings, top breakfast. Will definitely be staying again. Highly recommend
