Pros:

The room and bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Dining was good for dinner. It was a lovely place to stop. Best sleep all week. Fireplace is a nice touch. Blinds were good for room darkening.

Cons:

TV was too small for the room. Hard to see.

We would absolutely stay there again when visiting Cape Breton.
Pros:

St. Peter’s is a nice community and a great place to have as a home base while exploring Cape Breton. The Inn is clean, comfortable and welcoming. We got so much advice from all the staff, and especially Wendy, who helped us plan routes to the events and locations we had planned. We had a great dinner in the restaurant, too.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind.

Exceptially clean rooms in
Pros:

No breakfast available on site. Room very clean. Location beautiful.

Cons:

Water served at dinner so heavily chlorinated that it was undrinkable. The absence of at least a continental breakfast on site was inconvenient.

Very good spot for a quick stop with great food.
Pros:

Convenient spot on the way back to Halifax from Louisbourg or Cape Breton. Very pleasant staff. Good food. Sideways view of the lake. Worth a wander down to the jetty and the canal.

Cons:

Slightly old-fashioned hotel which feels a bit tired but is redeemed by the very pleasant staff and convenient location. Fine for one night stay. Useful laundry room in basement.

Well located and a great nights stay
Pros:

It was a good location just off the highway and easy to find. The beds were very comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. The restaurant food was excellent.

Cons:

The room was a bit cramped as there was a lot of furniture but that does give you flexibility.

Best place in town
Pros:

Lovely location on Lake, parking easy and close to rooms. Restaurant on site fantastic. I'd highly recommend the fish-n-chips 🐟 and locally brewed red ale🍺 ! Super neat and tidy room, nicely laid out.
Also saw 2 deer 🦌 roundabouts 6 pm just on the tree line where the lake and parking lot meet. So nice.

Cons:

3 or 4 little dead bugs in the restroom kinda creeped me out. (we looked them up on Google, and apparently they are totally harmless. They were about 1/2cm long & looked grey, with an articulated back like an armadillo).
