Pros:

Frühstück war gut.
Tolle Aussicht.

Cons:

Durch die Lage am Hang und am Ortsbeginn sind es ca. 20 Min. Bis in den Ort.

Pros:

Restaurant was closed that evening due to plumbing issues. Disappointed. However, did provide room service from restaurant menu. Really good food. Yum.
Room had good view of changing outlook.

Dragging suit cases up the hill from the train station.

Nice stay, good sized room, friendly staff, I feel a little expensive.

Breakfast had good variety and tasty. Room large, staff friendly.

Cons:

The bathroom was dated and the towel rail rusty and the radiator under towel rail full of dust. Bath panel had what looked to be a cloth/ tissue down the side of it. On check out we were in a rush and would of flagged to staff but reception staff were not at desk.
The room card did not lock the room but to be fair to hotel I did not flag, but I had not checked the handle before leaving only realising when we came back it was open.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, dafür recht teuer
Pros:

Toller Ausblick.

Cons:

Kein Aufzug und sehr steile ausgetreten Treppe. Frühstücksraum eher ungemütlich und in die Jahre gekommen. Der Fußboden war an allen Tagen klebrig.

I did not have meals but did have a desert to take to my room. Noticed the dining room and pool area was very down at heal, scruffy and old fashioned in presentation.

Kurzaufenthalt kurz vorm Ende der Welt
Pros:

Ein niedliches Hotel mit Pool an einem ziemlich steilen Hang. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und familiär, die Unterkunft an sich ist sehr schnuckelig eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Die Betten waren super bequem. Das Frühstück ist Geschmacksache, ich müsste das nicht unbedingt nochmal nehmen, aber die Auswahl war sehr groß, nächstes Mal vielleicht lieber Tee trinken :), der Kaffee war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der Bahnhof ist fußläufig zu erreichen, mit Gepäck allerdings etwas beschwerlich

Freundliches Personal bei "verarmten Landadel"
Pros:

Das sehr freundliche und aufgestellte Personal reisst die Bewertungen ins positive! Die Rezeptionistin (zugleich fürs Restaurant, als Kassierein, Bedienung etc. zuständig) ermöglichte einen Zimmerwechsel mit viel Freundlichkeit. Das Frühstück (Avocado mit Ei, super) war reichhaltig und ansprechend, auch hier waren die Mitarbeitenden stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bravissimo!
Die Zimmer waren sauber und mit Tee-Küche (täglich nachgefüllt!), Föhn und sogar Bügeleisen ausgestattet. Alles funktionierte. Positiv ist auch der Parkplatz beim Haus, den man unbedingt nutzen sollte (im Wohnquartier wäre die Parkplatzsuche mühsam gewesen).

Cons:

Das Hotel als Gebäude ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und wirkte wie "verarmter Landadel".
Das per Booking-Upgrade gebuchte Zimmer im 2. Stock (ohne Lift, mühsame Treppe) war kalt und ungeborgen. Zudem war es durch die Windgeräusche so laut, dass wir umbuchten (s.Oben). Nicht den Preis wert.
Die Fenster liessen sich nur mühsam öffnen, wirkten alle sehr dreckig. Boden und Tische im Restaurant waren klebrig, obwohl sie nach jedem Gast mit einem lilafarbenen Mittel abgewischt wurden. Das Ambiente verleitete leider nicht zum Genuss des an sich sehr feinen Frühstücks.
