Wonderful views of St Michael's Mount and the harbour. The breakfast was very good on both mornings. Lovely room and pretty decor. The hotel is well situated near the town. Staff in the restaurant for breakfast were welcoming and polite.
On arriving I was asked for photo id, which I was not in possession of. The gentleman on the front desk had to phone his supervisor to check if I could stay without it! It caused me to panic and think I might be getting a 3 hour train journey back home. I honestly did not see I needed photo id. It did get sorted out eventually. My two nights cost £518. I found this a bit expensive for the room allocated to me. It was a decent size with brilliant views but was above the restaurant and bar. The first night the music was quite loud but did finish by 10.30 pm. Second night was quieter. I stay in boutique hotels always and just felt the room could have been around the £220 price range.

Very handy for the Scilly Isles ferry. Appreciated the outdoor pool, which was an unexpected bonus.

Clean and comfortable
A little ‘tired’ in places.
The food here was excellent although service was slow due to skeleton staff the breakfast and evening meal were freshly cooked to order the staff were extremely friendly the sea views were stunning the town centre shops was just a 10 minute walk . Ideal location to visit the rest of Cornwall. St ives was really nice and mousehole the receptionist was extremely helpful and the hotel was very clean and looked after
There was no bedside light and no tv remote in my room. I booked a single room for 4 days the hotel is sited on a hill. With limited parking. I paid for reserved parking during my stay but never offered a refund when I couldn’t park my car staffing levels reduced as it was the start of there low season and make sure your fit to climb the hill when not using your car

Das Personal war super freundlich, der Blick recht gut.
Wir haben eine teures Zimmer für 300 Pfund pro Nacht gebucht (6 Tage gibt 1800 Pfund). Das Zimmer, das wir bekommen haben, war in einem Anbau. Es war sehr klein, einfach eingerichtet und kaum Ablageflächen, sehr ringhörig (wir haben jedes Wort der Nachbarn verstanden). In der Nacht hat man das Licht vom Gang her unter der Zimmertüre durchscheinen gesehen. Der Preis für dieses Zimmer ist eine Unverschämtheit.
Team was great and so accommodating. Mukesh was so welcoming he really made our trip comfortable. I love the food if surf and ministry of flavour restaurants.
