Das Hotel liegt 10-15 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Penzance entfernt, was für uns sehr praktisch war. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war wirklich schön. Das Personal war meistens sehr freundlich.
Das Hotel wirkte auf uns nicht sehr gepflegt. Teilweise hat es muffig gerochen. Bei einem Zimmer konnte das Fenster im Bad nicht richtig geschlossen werden, beim anderen hat es stark bei den Fenstern hereingezogen, da es windig war. Auch die Sauberkeit war teilweise nicht einem Viersternehotel entsprechend (schimmlige Gummimatte für die Dusche, sehr dreckige Fenster, klebriger Boden im Frühstücksbereich). Auch Teile vom Mobiliar war nicht in einwandfreiem Zustand

There is a short but steep climb up to the hotel but this was expected so not really a problem
We booked this hotel a year in advance so got 3 nights over the bank holiday for a bargain price of £248 (room only)
Plenty of information was provided before we arrived regarding check in etc
Was given a tour of hotel on arrival and informed we had been upgraded to a partial harbour view (room 24)
Ample room for two / bed was large and comfy / plenty of hangers in built in wardrobe / clean / shower was hot / plenty of towels / body wash and shampoo provided / hair dryer / fan / iron and ironing board / kettle / water / tea and coffee plus a jar of Cornish biscuits and crisps which was a nice touch.
I would recommend paying for parking as you would struggle to find a parking space on the street.
Hotel is locating on a steep hill so would not advice for those with mobility issues.
We did not eat where so can not comment on the food but overall a lovely sta
We had the best view of the sea. The room was really beautiful. Everything matched this light teal colour like a pale aqua green off the sea. The room was like a mini apartment and the hotel was really tastefully decorated with big lounge areas and even a swimming pool. The staff were extra friendly and helpful. Was just a really enjoyable experience and was walking distance to town, like ten minutes from the station.
Would have been nice to have a mini fridge but no big deal. They kept replenishing water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits and packets of crisps which was a nice touch. They do need a sign on reception just to say if no one there please ring this number.

The view was beautiful.
The hotel had several noticeable issues during our stay. We arrived within the agreed check-in slot, but there was nobody at reception for around 20 minutes, and in fact we did not see anyone at reception during our entire stay. There is also no lift, which was inconvenient.
The room, and the hotel in general, had a strange smell. The furniture was visibly old, and the breakfast price felt too high at £17. The phone in the room was not working, as the line was constantly busy.
There were also some housekeeping problems: on one occasion, a bath towel was missing, and on another, there was toilet cleaning chemical left in the toilet without being flushed, which caused a very strong smell throughout the bathroom. In addition, there were no prices listed for the minibar.
Nice location and lovely views.
It would be good to have a cosy lounge with the fire going, and some heat in the dining room according to weather. It was cold both temp and atmosphere. Warmer lighting from real bulbs versus LED would help.
It would be good to have nice feather bedding available rather than the allergy foam only.
There was only one gin available at the bar but many varieties of less popular spirits.
Although the lady mentioned lack of staff, we paid full price for a fully-staffed experience.

I stayed there for one night only. It was clean and the room was comfortable.
The fact that you have to pay £17 for a buffet even if you just want a piece of fruit or yogurt. There should be options for people who just want a light breakfast.
Room was smelling and I had to open the window despite the cold. Mattress has its springs worn out and it was unstable to sleep. Cold in the room despite adjusting the radiator.
The location and views were fantastic and facilities are very comfortable
They was a leak to the conservatory roof and carparking charges were additional
