The pleasant atmosphere made up for the short falls
Pros:

The location was excellent.

Cons:

The breakfast had gluten free options as requested but they were minimal and awful. Rooms a bit small. Sounds from next doors bathroom really audible.

Not 4* hotel
Pros:

Its not what you would expect from the 4* star hotel. They charge you for 4* but you get maximum 2*. The rooms are dated. Bathroom fixtures falling apart. The cup coasters in the bathroom are old and dirty. Had to change the room due to insects but the second room was the same problem. Luckily it was only short stay at this hotel. Not worth the price they ask for a room. When addressing the insects issue to the front desk been told "don't keep the food in the room. As an exception we will change the room but usually we don't do this". The hotel does food service to the room which Im not sure how it works if you don't want insects in the room. We didn't have food and insects were still everywhere.

A weekend gateway with amazing views at a hotel full of pensioners
Pros:

We stayed in a suite overlooking the sea the view was magnificent and the room was amazing

Cons:

Honestly it felt like we were in an old people home as there were so many old people with an average age of 55 plus. The breakfast was not great.

Would happily book here again. Junior suites are great.

One of the best in spain

We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday.

Hotel Angela, not the same
Pros:

Hotel Angela, a little bit disappointed.
Food not as good, stupid lids on food trays, lift the lid up to get food but nowhere to leave the glass lid.
Ques of people being signed in to the restaurant, new system does not work. Staff have lost their sparkle, happy hour gone, bar staff seem to be on a downer, used to have people laughing now people are shocked at the prices.....
It's such a pity, there was a community of regulars, I don't think you will hear people saying they have been coming for 20 years plus anymore...
Management seem to have lowered all employees morale....
Question is do we give it one more go?

Great Hotel Third Visit
Pros:

This is our third visit to hotel Angela, this time for a 3 week stay. The hotel is very good, friendly hard working staff! Entertainment every night! The food was excellent with plenty of choice! The fish was superb with lots of different types throughout the weeks ! Salmon, cod, plaice, hake, perch and others! I am not a big meat eater so was happy!
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
The hotel has a heated indoor pool with steam room and sauna! Lovely area to be in!
The rooms are good, we had a balcony facing west, lots of sun in afternoon!
The only thing that could be improved on in my opinion is in the bathroom ? There is not a liquid soap dispenser next to the hand wash basin ? A bit strange?
Also there is no storage for toiletries? Just the area around the wash basin so it gets quite cluttered ! The bathroom is a good size so there is room for some shelving or a storage unit of some description ?
Looking forward to our next visit to the Angela again very soon!
